Chapter 12

~back to Becca's point of view~

I was suspicious of where Matt went last night but I tried to forget. It was really early but Matt had to leave. Hopefully he would come back soon because I hated being away from him.

"Send me pictures of your house" I said as we hugged goodbye. "I will. I'll miss you and you have to come visit" Matt continued. "I love you" I kissed him. "I love you more" he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled my closer.

"I love you" I said for the last time. He went through security and waved to me once again. I got into my car and drove back home.

I stopped to get Dutch Bros and got out of my car. The workers new my order. I sat at the table all alone playing on my phone.

"Are you Becca White" I heard someon say. I turned around and it was someone who looked familiar. He was hot. "Yeah and you are" I asked. "Jayden Rodriguez, remember me we were neighbors before you moved" the guy said. "Oh, hey sit down" I remembered him. We were really good friends in fact he was one of my only friends.***

"I remember, and then you fell down the stairs" I laughed. I have never laughed so hard. I really missed him. "Yeah so do you have a boyfriend" he seriously asked. "Um, yeah I just took him to the air port" I bit my lip. He got a text. "We should catch up some more later but I have to start walking home" Jayden smiled. "Do you still live in the same house" I asked. "Yeah, do you" he questioned. "Yeah. I can give you a ride" I offered. "Are you sure" Jayden smirked. "Yeah why not" I smiled as we got into my car.***

~next day~

It was late and I just got out of my shower. I called Matt since we haven't talked all day.

"Hi babe! I'm so sorry I haven't called all day we have been so busy. I am flying really early in the morning to Virginia" Matt stammered. "Hey, don't worry I just was wondering how your day was" I smiled. "It went by quick but it was long, we signed leases, started picking out stuff for the house and bought tickets to go home" he explained. "That sounds fun" I giggled. "What" he sounded stressed. "You sound stressed and I miss you" I informed. "I miss you more, babe I love you" Matt bursted out. "I love you too, and when you move I promise I will go to see you" I commanded. "Okay. I love you" he wouldn't stop saying he loves me.

I hung up the phone and took a shower.

I got out and threw on some shorts and a t shirt and went down stairs to the kitchen.

Making Mac & Cheese wasn't really easy. I had made a mess all over the counter tops. Once it was all made I sat on the couch and ate.

"Hey" someone said while sitting next to me. It was Jayden. "Hi" I hugged him. "Do you want food?" "I'm good" he answered. "Why are you over here? Actually how did you get in" I giggled. "It was unlocked and I didn't really want to wait for anyone to get the door" he chuckled while pointing at the door.

"So tell me more about yourself, stuff I don't already know" Jayden smirked. "Well, I am a part of a tour where fans get to meet me, also it's a paint tour" I spoke. "What fans? Your famous" he chuckled. "I have fans but I wouldn't say I'm famous" I bit my lip. "Stop doing that" he grunted. "Doing what" I asked. "Biting your lip, it's turning me on" I stopped biting my lip. "I have a boyfriend, I already told you" I blushed. "How do I know your not just saying that" Jayden was really flirting. Yeah we used to be friends not a couple.***

I checked my phone reading 2:37 on the clock. Me and Jayden have been together for hours. The worst part was I was cuddled in his arms while we were watching 50 first dates. I looked up to see his eyes shut.

"Jayden get up it's two thirty" I whispered. "Shit really! I got to get home. I'm going to be in real trouble" he got up and grabbed his shoes. "Thanks for coming over I had fun" I grinned just enough to see my dimples. "I want to kiss you but I'm not going to" he chucked. I hugged Jayden and walked him towards the door.

"See you later" he nodded. "Okay?" "Can I please, never mind see ya" Jayden ran out and I started cracking up. I wasn't sure what was going on but I just went up stairs.

"Who was that" Jack asked. "My old friend" I kept walking past him. "I got a picture" he laughed. "What the hell? What are you going to do with it" I was scared he would- "Send it to Matt when you least expect!" "What's the fuck" I screamed. "It's two in the morning shut the hell up" he whispered. "Seriously delete that picture! There is nothing going on between me and Jayden I swear" I cried. I didn't need Matt to find out that I'm friends with another guy.

I ran into my room and cried on the bed. I texted Matt.

Me: Matt I love you so much and always know that. I love you and only you!

Then, I heard a knock on my balcony door. I got scared. I grabbed a bat from under my bed and went to the door and pulled aside the curtains. You'll never guess who it was, Jayden. I opened the door and he came straight into my room and sat on my bed.

"What's wrong" Jayden wrapped his muscular arm around my waist. "I think you should go, my boyfriend will know about me and you cuddling and I don't think he will be to happy" I buried my face in my hands. "Friends remember? How about I stay over but I'll stay on the ground and you can sleep on the bed just like the old days" he exclaimed. "I'm sorry but no, I don't think I'll be okay with that" I frowned as he let go of me. "Okay it was worth a try" he tried to plaster a fake smile on his face but couldn't. He went back to the door.

A few moments later, "Fine you can stay but you can't try and make a move because you are my FRIEND" I raised my voice. "Yay" he yelled.***

"My boyfriend sticks with me through everything and I just love him" I threw my phone and caught it as it came down. "I wish I had a girlfriend to spilt and love no matter what" Jayden said.

Slowly, I drifted asleep.
