Ariana Grande was living a happy life in New York City. She was only 18 and was already living by herself.
Her parents died when she was little, she lived with her Auntie until she was 16 then set off into the big world. Fortunately, her parents were quite wealthy before their departure and left her with a small apartment and enough money to set herself up.
Not many people knew of Ariana, but those that did knew her as the petite, doe-eyed girl who wouldn't hurt a fly. She always had a smile on her face and had a contagious, bubbly personality. However, when the wrong words were said, there was no stopping the tears from welling in her eyes.
Being in her final year of high school, she had her head down and in the books. She didn't have time to deal with the odd feeling of being watched. Whenever she turned around, she felt someone there but was far too busy to act on it.
