Later after the siege of orcs ships of jahal cove arrived to help aid to whatever they can. Valgrim looks over to saroas and Troy and starts discussing about the situation with the orcs.
"What now?" Valgrim asked
"Now we have to help jahal cove and if jahal cove is at risk then we need to talk to the governor and see if he can provide us with the information we need." Troy says
"For now you need some rest grim." Troy looks over to Valgrim
"Grim?" Valgrim questioned
"Yeah that's what I'm gonna call ya for now on." Troy replies
"Sorry for the long wait Valgrim The captain asked me to help the other passengers so I can't use all my magic in healing your wounds." Saroas Says as he finishes bandaging Valgrims wounds.
"It's fine. Thanks anyways now I can finally-"Valgrim says before he knocked out asleep.
"Haha even like his father he falls hard asleep." Troy laughs
"Excuse me." A strange voice says
Troy turns around and noticed a cloaked figure in a mask.
"That boy he's of the mountain monastery's correct?" The cloaked figure asked
"Yeah? Why do ask?" Troy says as he slowly reaches for his pistol.
"I just wanna know if he can answer a few questions." The cloaked figure
"Now son I reckon you don't understand he's in no way to wake up let alone the fact the boy is knocked out asleep. Now I reckon you do is wait till he's up and ready." Troy replies as he lets go of the gun
"Well when he dose wake up tell this. That the water monastery is gone. And the water of the seas are in need of the mountains." The cloaked figure says before leaving
"Well that's was odd." Troy muttered to himself
"What was odd?" Valgrim says to Troy
"Oh some random guy asking about if your monastery or something like that. WAIT I THOUGHT YOU WERE KNOCKED OUT?" Troy says realizing that Valgrim woke up
"So you heard all that then?" Troy asked
"Yup every word." Valgrim says grinning
"What did he meant by water monastery?" Troy asked
"Well either he's a Messenger or he's a monk of the underwater monastery's." Valgrim explains the water monastery to Troy.
"Ah so you heard about my masters monastery then." The cloaked figure says entering in the room
"Yes and I heard about your clans tragedy and I'm sorry for your losses." Valgrim says bowing in respect
"Thank you but I came here to test your skills in combat. Spar with me on top deck." The figure says
"Ok. I accept." Valgrim says as he gets up from the bed he was resting on
"Damit grim you just got healed." Troy says
"What it's just sparing. Not a death match." Valgrim says
Valgrim and The cloaked who introduce himself as wake as they walked to the top deck of the ship. Accompanying them is Troy and saroas to make sure nothing stupid or bad happens these two.
"So you always wear that outfit or you just making a fashion statement?" Valgrim says to wake
"I'm just not used to being around people because of my appearance." Wake replies
"Well wake if the people here can accept me as a tiefling then they will accept you with no problem." Valgrim says back
As the two monks prepare themselves for their sparring match. Wake takes off his cloak and revealed his gi and takes a fighting stance. Valgrim was already wearing his gi that he got from his grandfather and noticed that wake is a merfolk
"Alright boys I don't wanna see y'all killing each other so keep it clean." Troy says to them
"Alright...BEGIN!!" Troy shouts.
The two monks stood there in silence as the rain stopped. They both waited for the right moment to strike. Valgrim lunges to attack wake; Valgrim go's for a side kick at wakes chest. As Valgrims foot made contact to wake, wake pushed Valgrims kick to the side making Valgrim stagger a bit.
Valgrim attempts to strike wake with a knuckle palm strike at wakes face quickly; as Valgrims strikes hits true. But Valgrim stopped right in front of his face. Wake and Valgrim noticed that the ship was shaking violently.
As the two combatants cease there fighting as they hear a very unique and ungodly noise. As giant serpent like creature with glowing red eyes and black scales emerges from the sea and emits a very loud roar.
"Umm...WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT THING?!?!?" Saroas shouts as he grabs his long sword.
"If you really wanna know then I reckon ya shut it and fight it damit!!!" Troy shouts as he pulls his pistol from his holster.
The bell of the ship rang as the crew men made top side and opened fire on the creature with magic and rifles. Valgrim nods to wake as they both head to a weapon. Valgrim bolts to the mast running up on top of sail. Wake grabs his spear he was carrying; with a Flourish twirl wake prepares to attack the creature.
Valgrim bites on his thumb hard and begins to bleed; he draws a Crescent moon on his palm with the blood from his thumb. Valgrim begins muttering words under his breath in infernal then to common.
"Sekigen wo ike, hi no ryouken; Go into the red plains, scarlet hound. Yet, thou serves with thine eyes clouded in chaos.
Thou, bound in the cage of madness. I am he who command those chains. Boil their skin into bone. NOW RISE MY WEAPON OF DEATH. RISE EBONY CLAW !!!" Valgrim shouts as the drawing of the moon turns black then begins to transform into a black scythe; with a blade about the size of A carriage size dire macaws beak.
Valgrim leaped from the top of the mast and takes his mighty scythe and lands a blow on top of the creatures maw; and pulls and slamming its head down to the deck of the ship.
"Bad dog." Valgrim says jokingly
The creature being to struggle and shakes Valgrim off of its maw; the creature throws Valgrim in the air. Valgrim dose a back flip and attempts to do a high jump kick on the creatures head. As Valgrims kick connected the creatures head slammed on the deck; almost frothing at the mouth and lays there motionless.
"Steady lads we don't know if it's dead or not?" One of the crew men says to the others
Valgrim walks up to it and pulls out his scythe from its head. Valgrim uses his spell mage hand to push the carcass of the creature off the ship.
"Ok one what in God's name was that ugly thing?" Valgrim asked as he turned to the crewmen
"A behir. They said they were created by the giants to fight the dragons." Troy says take out his cigarette.
"Also I heard they can breath lightning." Troy adds after he puffed smoke
"Ok can we please have a safe voyage to jahal cove now?" Saroas Says
"Ah quit ya bitching Nancy were almost to jahal." Troy says back
"Who the bloody hell is nancy?" Saroas replies
Valgrims scythe crumbles into dust. Wake tells Valgrim that he's looking for the person responsible for the tragedy of his people.
"Well I don't know much of the pirate world wake I guess you should start looking for answers in jahal . But one thing that the monks taught us is to be patient and not get to tide to emotional mucks." Valgrim says to wake
"Well Valgrim I hope we see each other in the future." Wake Says as he heads back to his room
"Well boys next stop jahal cove." Troy says as he has a toothy grin.
