Later that night everyone was gathered at the table. Valgrim was looking over the satchel of bullets the Gimme brothers gave him. Troy was discussing to Valgrim how the bullets work.
"Alright grim these bullets have different abilities like magic. But they have a purpose and function." Troy Says as he picks up a regular bullet.
"For example you seen my regular bullets right? Now take a look at the the tip of it see how it's a regular bronze color that's mean it's just casual bullet. Now do you see this bullet see how the tip of it is orange. That means it's either a explosive round or a fire round. If it's a explosive round then what ever it hits explodes. Now I reckon you hold on to those for something big son.alright?" Troy explains to Valgrim who is looking at his bullets in awe.
"He Troy what are these bullets?" Valgrim asked as he holds up a bullet with a red tip and silver casing on it.
"Ah those are meant for vampires. Vampires hate silver." Troy Says with a grin.
As everyone were preparing for their journey to the South Island Captain mead enters the tavern.
"Lads I want to wish you all good luck and as promised I will give you a ship and send you as a pardon." Mead Says
"Thank for everything mead." Valgrim says
As they all were about to leave. They were stopped by the General store owner. Who was out of breath.
"Abigail what's wrong?" Mead Asked
"CAPTAIN SOMETHING HAS HAPPENED TO MY SON!!!" Abigail says almost out of breath.
"Abigail please calm down. Now breath and tell us what exactly happened." Mead Says trying to calm her down
Abigail begins explaining how her son got kidnaped by the mind flyers. Valgrim eyes widened.
"Where did they go?" Valgrim Asked
"They went to the South Island." Abigail replies almost in heart broken pain
"We'll get your son back you have my word." Valgrim Says to Abigail
"Mead we're ready to go to South Island. Are the preparation for departure ready?" Valgrim Says as he looks over to mead
"Aye, they are. But do be careful in the South Island that place has creatures that can harm you without a second thought lad." Mead Says
"We'll take those chances." Valgrim Says his joyful mood turns to a sincere serious tone
As Valgrim, Troy, saroas, Leoheart, and Kratox walked to the ports. They took a row boat and started rowing to the South Island.
Upon arrival they noticed that the island was giving off a strange magical energy.
"Well this is the place. Grim what ya think the boy must be here?" Troy asked Valgrim
"Yes he is here I can sense his presence but it's faint but he is alive. Let's follow the trail before it goes cold." Valgrim replies
Halfway through the Jungle they stopped to look for a bigger trail. Saroas felt an uneasy thumping through the forest.
"Everyone quiet. I here something; and it's not big." Saroas Says quietly
"Do ya know where it's coming from." Troy whispers
"It sounds like its coming towards Valgrim." Saroas whispers before hiding behind a bush.
Leoheart and Kratox do the same thing as well. But troy and Valgrim stood there ground. As the thumping gets louder and louder as a giant Tyrannosaurus rex appears in front of Valgrim.
