Later that stormy night on the volten Valgrim was resting in his room and was then awakened by the heavy waves crashing on the boat. Few minutes later Valgrim hears the sound of the bells of the ship. Two guards opened the door with haste and anger.
"Captain wants everyone on top deck right now!" The guard says rather in a rude tone
"Ok I'll be up in a min." Valgrim says rather tired.
"No he wants everyone up and on deck now! Oh and grab some rain gear." The guard says as they throw Valgrim a rain coat.
"Ok fine no need for hostility." Valgrim says jokingly
"No more jokes let's go now!" The guard says as they punch Valgrim to wake up
"YOU ASSHOLE WHAT WAS THAT FOR!" Valgrim yells
"WAKE UP OR WE WILL DRAG YOU UP ON DECK IS THAT CLEAR." The guard shouts back
"YOU KNOW WHAT TAKE-"Valgrim shouts as one of the guards punched Valgrim in the face to knock him out.
The guard dragged him to the top deck of the volten Valgrim begins to wake up and starts struggling . Valgrims friends were there as well. The guards threw him next to saroas . As Valgrim stumbles and was caught by saroas he balls his fists and attempts to swing at the guard that punched him but instead was back handed to the floor by the guards.
"Valgrim relax don't start a fight with them." Troy says trying to help Valgrim up from the floor
"But why the alarm?" Saroas asked
"I don't know I don't care." Valgrim says before he spits his blood at the guards feet and wipes his face.
"Valgrim just relax and let me do the talking." Troy says trying to control Valgrim.
Valgrim starts cleaning his cut on his mouth. And saroas is helping clean up his cut. Everyone was on deck talking amongst themselves for a short while until they hear footsteps coming on deck.
Everyone turns and sees the captain of the volten. A 50 year old man with a cane sword.
"Sir everyone is here." The guard says to the captain.
"Good let's get this over with." The captain says
"Do you wonder why we brought you all here." The captain says to everyone
"Because you're a senile old man who can't read the time and wants to interrogate his passengers." Valgrim out bursts with a serious tone
"Valgrim what did I just say." Troy says as he face palmed himself
"What I got punched for no reason I have the right to say something." Valgrim protests
"Well I see ya still got spunk boy I'll give you that." The captain says
"Anyone else would like to guess?" The captain says to everyone
"Pirates?" One of the passengers speaks up.
"You be right in some regards. One of the cargo is missing and no one leaves until we find the corporate responsible for it." The says much louder
The captain starts talking to his men about the situation at hand. And one the passengers aksed the captain questions and some of the other passengers asked Valgrim if he was ok and checking his cut on his mouth.
"Valgrim you ok?" Troy asked him
"Yeah just pissed." Valgrim replies
"Just don't fight these guys they're elite sailors." Troy warns Valgrim
"Ok fair enough." Valgrim replies
A few more minutes later. The captain makes his way to a little kobold and picks him up by the scuff of his shirt.
"I know he dose I now he can!" The captain shouts to the little kobold
"HEY PUT HIM DOWN!" Valgrim shouts
"What did you say?" The captain says as he look at Valgrim.
All the captains men Surrounded Valgrim with their weapons pointed at Him. As saroas and Troy look off the side of the volten.
"How dare you. Know your place boy you're lucky my men don't cut you down for such arrogance." The captain says to Valgrim.
"Oh really at least I don't treat passengers like if they were criminals." Valgrim replies back
"Everyone brace!" The guards shouts
As everyone braced for impact. The ship nearly tipped off to its side. As Valgrim held on to the side of the volten. He hears a strange deep voice
"BORED THE SHIP BOYS!!!" The voice says
The ship was being boarded by a raiding party of orcs.
"Well Valgrim you wanted a fight." Saroas Says grinning.
"Oh hell yeah." Valgrim says cracking his knuckles.
"Just don't break anything boys." Troy says as he pulls his dual pistols
Valgrim dashes at one of the orcs then lunges at them to give a devastating kick to the orcs stomach. As his foot connects with the orcs torso the orc was sent fly over bored. Then turns around as he's turning he balls up his fist for a jab the orc behind him breaking the orcs jaw and dropping him.
"Alright so who wants some!" Valgrim shouts at the group of orcs.
"That be me you cocky prick!" One of the orcs says charging at him
As The orc takes a swing at Valgrim the orc felt his sword hitting something. As the orc saw the blood on his blade but saw Valgrim clapping the blade to stop the blade from cutting His chest.
"Not bad you over grown sack of shit." Valgrim smirks as he's pushing the blade away from him
"You dare mock a orc. The lot of you take everything on this ship for the captain!" The orc shouts to his crew
As the other orcs continued with their assault on the volten. saroas draws his long sword and fight the other orcs in his way. Saroas used his swords sheath to block one of the orcs sword and his sword to block the other orc.
"Troy how are you handling these things?" Saroas shouts to Troy
Troy beings dodging the orcs attacks. He threw a small flash grenade blinding the orcs and taking his shots with his pistols.
"Well seeing how they're just wearing clothes they are not that tough. I see Valgrim is enjoying his fight." Troy replies and uses a orc as a human shield.
Valgrim slid his hand down the blade a bit then uses his ki to break the orcs blade. Then hits the orcs throat with a palm strike. Then grabs the orcs head and spikes him with his knee.
As the fight raged on Valgrim uses his eldrich blast and blasting the remaining orcs. Troy tied up some stragglers to interrogate for later. And saroas started to aid the passengers in need of healing.
Valgrim noticed the captain of the volten walking up to him.
"Now lad I would like to apologize for earlier. You and your allies are very talented in handling these situations. How would like to help out jahal cove the city is need of help would you help us?" The captain says as he Extends hi hand out for a gentleman's hand shake.
"What you guys think?" Valgrim asked saroas and Troy
"Well you can get information as well why not."Troy Says
"I agree and I believe this can be beneficial." Saroas Says
"Then sir you got your self a deal." Valgrim says shaking the captains hand.
