Chapter 16 -
When I get home, I run up to my room. This goofy smile never leaving my face. I open my door and Amy and Michelle are on my bed watching a movie. They both turn their heads toward me.
They take in my smile. " I take it the date went well? " Amy asks with a hint of amusement. I can't find the words to speak so I just nod. They both gasp. " Did he give that to you? " She asks pointing at my chest where the necklace was. I just nod, again.
" Wait. So that means he asked you to be his girlfriend? " Michelle asks. I again, having no way of talking without screaming, nod my head. They both do little girly screams and run over to me.
" Did you kiss? "
" Was it good? "
" How did he ask? "
" Where did you go? "
" What did y'all talk about? "
They both rant in one pleading voice. I open my mouth and as expected, I do a little girly scream. I then proceed to tell them every little detail of the date, with a few gasps here and there and a few ' awws ' chorused, we managed to get through.
" So you guys are official? " Michelle asks.
I look at them with my smile still on my face and a gleam and my eye and say, " yes. " I look at my phone and realize I have a text. It's from Adam.
Cue squealing.

Well I have to go tuck Rosie in. She can't go to sleep without me tucking her in. I know, I'm so cute. Goodnight my beautiful girlfriend. May your dreams be filled with me. Because I know mine will be filled with you ;) I cannot even fathom how extraordinarily happy that I can call you mine. Words cannot describe how excited I am to see you and hug and kiss you tomorrow ;) Sweet dreams baby. :*
