_ANGELVANHORN_'S POV//

Chapter three was purposely confusing for the sake of additional future chapters. Those chapters will have the answers to some of the questions that might be stirring up. Angie is lost behind Paulina's charming demeanor but some of Angie's friends are having mixed feelings about Paulina ever since everything went down in Rio. It's all coming back to them now. Are they planning to shun Paulina for her sketchy mentality? We shall wait and see!

CRYSTALS POV//

I unscrew the tight screws in the women's stall at the bathroom on the toilet paper dispenser.

"I don't get why everyone is starting to have a problem with Paulina," Angie says from the other stall next to me.

"Angie, she may be able to fool you but she can't fool me. It took a while to put two and two together but think about it. Daniel was right. If Paulina had the dick to cheat on Isaac imagine what she'll do to you. And no offense but you're extremely vulnerable to her bullshit. Phillips," I say to Angie and her hand reaches under the door to hand me the screwdriver. I finally get the covering off and I grab the giant roll of toilet paper.

"She knows you and she knows how to fuck with you," I say and walk out of the stall. Angie walks out with the toilet paper under one arm, the flathead in one hand and toilet seat covers in the other.

"Angie, what the fuck? We don't need those," I say and point at the seat covers.

"Oh shit. I thought we would," She says while turning around to put it back.

"Just, just keep it you already have it," I say and shake my head.

"Paulinas sweet and we even talked about a future together," Angie says.

"You can't be serious? I'll go to your wedding but I won't be happy about it," I say as we walk out of the bathroom.

"Have you guys even been out on a date?" I ask

"What is your definition of a date?" Angie asks biting her nails.

"Not just going to get Chinese food and going back to your house to eat it in your bed," I answer.

"Oh. Yeah. No," Angie says.

"Jesus, its hot as tits out here," I say when we walk out of the mall. While we wait outside my phone chimes.

*Come to my house @ 3* A text from Paulina says. Angie's phone chimed at the same time mine did so Paulina must've sent it to the dead group chat.

"Are you going?" Angie asks me.

"Fuck no," I say and squint my eyes.

"Uh, yes you are," She contradicts.

"Uh no, I'm not," I fire back.

"I already got an Uber to take us there," She laughs and I scoff.

PAULINAS POV//

I sit in a lawn chair waiting for everyone to get to my house. I'm pretty sure they know to find me in my backyard. I roll up the bottom of my tank top so my midriff can get some air. Its hot as balls outside and I don't really know why I decided to have everyone over on the hottest day of the year.

"Paulina, Girl, you know I'm not about to go on a scavenger hunt to find you," Kassidy says when she opens the gate to my backyard with Grace.

"Well you found me," I get up and hug her and Grace.

"I feel like I haven't seen you in forever," Kassidy says when she sits on a lawn chair in the circle I made out of them in the grass.

"Yeah, well you kinda ignored me at graduation," I passive-aggressively laugh.

"We were all going through some tough shit, get off my dick," Kassidy explains.

"Aye yo Paulina, I know you're not about to have us outside," Tommy yells while he walks through the gate. Isaac standing awkwardly behind him. Technically he wasn't invited but he was in the group chat so.

"Hey man," I say and hug Tommy.

"Long time no see Casburn," He says.

"Have a seat, there's water in the cooler next to Grace," I say and close my gate.

"Got any beer?" Tommy asks.

"Under the water," I say and Tommy grabs two beers for him and Isaac.

"It's me bitches and I brought the New Yorker," Crystal yells while coming into my backyard. Everyone gets up and greets Angie because they haven't heard from her since she left.

"Fuck outta my way," I say and push past everyone to hug a very sweaty hot Angie.

When everyone's done hugging Angie, we all grab a seat in the middle of my yard.

"Hand me one yeah?" Crystal asks and waits for Grace to hand her a beer.

"Spot me one," Angie says and holds out her hand.

"Daniels coming by the way," Angie says while sipping from her Corona.

"Fuck me," Isaac says and bends over his lap.

'Do you got any pot? I figured we should all be faded if we have to deal with Dickhead Daniel," I say and stare at Tommy and wait for an answer.

"Nah, my brother snagged it," Tommy says and puts his hands together.

"Fuck," I say and move my hair out of my way.

"So why did we all gather here today," Angie asks mimicking in a preacher's voice.

"We haven't seen each other since graduation and we have some catching up to do," I say and stare at everyone. They nod and purse their lips in agreement.

"Have any of you notice that when all of us are together, we're either getting, crossfaded or ignoring each other?" Grace says.

"Yeah and I figured we can try and hang out without illegal supplements," I say in response to Grace.

"Have we ever done that?" Crystal asks.

"Maybe," Danie says walking into the backyard.

"Shit," I say and stand up.

"Sit over there," I instruct and point to a chair far away from Angie.

"Paulina. Why the fuck are we outside? My dick is sweating," Isaac says.

"Want me to whip out my dick so we can compare dick sweat?" I say and from the corner of my eye, I see Angie crack a smile.

"I don't think that'll be necessary you already have me dick whipped enough," Isaac says jokingly. I'm glad him and I are respecting each other enough to joke with each other.

I take a moment to stare at everyone in my circle. They tell you to keep your circle small because its better to have a few good friends rather than a ton of people you just talk to. I look at the different faces that I called my family for two years. It's like my youth that I created with these people is flashing before me right now. I can't help but smile at the sweet mindless memories I have with them and how I feel about them being my friends. I'm lucky to know such a genuine group of people despite the bullshit we all had to deal with. It's not fair that we all have our deep down issues with one or another. It's not fair that some of my favorite people are against me dating Angie. And it isnt fair that soon we will all eventually forget about each other.
