ISAAC'S POV//

It's hot as shit today. In a couple of days, I'll be leaving for Colorado and I'm actually sad because I'll be leaving my best friend, Tommy and I'll be leaving something I'll never be able to officially let go. Paulina. I stand in my front yard with the water hose and my little sister. We watch as the water slowly starts to fill up her kiddy pool and stand in silence. 

"Angie!" My sister shrieks. I turn around trying to keep the hose in its position and Angie walks up to my yard. My sister runs over and hugs her.

"Good morning Izzy," Angie says and happily hugs my sister.

"Hey Ang," I say and greet Angie with a hug.

"So here's the thing," She starts. "I know what you did with Paulina and I'm gonna need this whole 'let's sneak around behind Angie's back' charade to stop. I'm past my limit," She says in a serious tone. I don't know what to say so I just stand in front of Angie in silence and embarrassment.

"I want you and Paulina to have a friendship because we were all friends from the start but I just need you to stay away from her....parts and her lips. They're not yours anymore," She finishes. I feel ashamed but I also feel relieved Angie had the decency to come to me herself.

"Ivy says Paulinas a bitch," Izzy says and I smack my forehead. 

"Don't say that word," I scold. Angie looks down at my sister with a fake smile and looks back to me.

"Your girlfriend is teaching your sister to call my girlfriend names?" Angie says calmly.

"Listen, Angie, I'm sorry that whole thing happened with Paulina. I have urges and I just miss her so much," I sigh.

"I get that but you know technically you made her cheat right? You knew what you were doing," she says. "I don't care what urges you have, just keep them away from Paulina," She says after.

"Out of all people, Angie, I thought you'd be the person to understand everything and be accepting," I say.

"It's not like that anymore, Isaac," I can't see beneath Angie's thick layer of ice that's maker her talk to me like this. She's been spending too much time with Paulina because this is a tone Paulina would use but its projected itself onto Angie. 

"I'm gonna miss you, Angie," I say as she walks away. She turns around and walks toward me again.

"I'm gonna miss you more," She says and hugs me. 

"Take care of yourself Ang. Take care of Paulina ok? Take her to the moon for me," I say and my eyes start to water. Angie looks at me for a few moments before nodding.

I stand in the middle of the terminal with my backpack and one of my many suitcases. Tommy stares at me and pats me on the shoulder.

"You're gonna kick ass man," He says and folds his lips. 

"Thanks for being my best friend since diapers," I say and try to hide my tears. 

"Let's go, Isaac," My mom calls out to me. I look at Tommy one last time before walking toward my mom with my suitcase rolling next to me. I try not to think about Paulina and how badly I want to talk to her while walking to the gate. I'm not supposed to contact her but she's the only one who doesn't know I left.
