"Sara, are you okay?!" Marc runs to me and hold my hands. I nod: "My water broke. I-I'm giving a birth," I stutter and try to breathe deeply. "Oh, sh*t! Already?! Mum! Dad!" he shouts and helps me sit down. "Breathe, Sara, breathe," he says and breathes with me. The cramp in my stomach grabs me strong. Contraction. "Auch! I won't be able to do this, Marc," I cry. "Of course you will. You're very strong. Where are they?! Jorge! Mum!" he shouts again when Julia and my mum comes to the kitchen. And after them runs Jorge and Roser. "She's giving a birth!" Marc shouts quickly. Another contraction grabs me again. The family panicked. "We need to take her to maternity hospital quickly," I hear my mum said. "I don't know if I can hold on for such a long time," I strongly hold Marc's hands, when the third contraction grabs me. "Julia, call Doctor Alvarez. Let him come here. We don't have much time," Roser said as she stepped to me. "Aunt, there is no time, "I cry again, "I feel that child will be born soon."
"Okay, then I'll help you."
"You? Are you sure?" Marc asked quickly. "Yes," Roser nods determinedly. "Jorge, take her to the main bedroom. Maria, prepare hot water, and Gloria bring clean towels and disinfected scissors. Let Kate help you," aunt says when Jorge raises me and takes me to aunt's and uncle's bedroom. Marc runs before us and opens the door. "I don't feel good," I say when he puts me on the bed. "Everything will be fine, dear. I will be with you," Marc said, grabbing my hand. "Auch!" The fourth contraction. "May I also stay with her?" Jorge asks. "Of course," Marc answers quickly.
"Doctor Alvarez's car is at the mechanic and his wife is not at home. Jonas and I are going to him," uncle Julia says at the door. "Okay, thanks," Marc said, when Roser and mum comes in the room. "Here is another sheet," Gloria said, giving it to mum. "Hang on, sis," she said, then she left the room. "So, it's all set. Bend your knees, dear," Roser said and I obey her. "Now you can start to push," she said gently. I push it hard, and nothing. I breathe deeply and push. Jorge and Marc are holding me by my hands, each on own side and breathe with me. "Push," Roser said again. "You're doing great, love. Just obey and keep pushing," Marc said. I push. "That's good. Perfect, I already see the head," aunt said. I squeeze both of guys for the hand and push with all the force. "Bravo, Sara. A little more," Jorge said now and wiped my sweaty forehead. "Once again, Sara, just once again," Roser said. I scream and force myself to the last atom of power. Then I hear a loud cry. "Congratulations, sweetheart," Marc says with teary eyes, kissing me on the forehead. "She is beautiful," Roser said. "Yes, she is," mum agrees with her and cry. Jorge is without a word. A little tear slips down his face. I cry too. "Here you go, get to know your beautiful little daughter," Roser said and gives me a little girl, wrapped in a towel and puts her on my chest. "Hi, love," I greet her. She is so perfect.
I hold her in my arms for a while, then I give her to Marc. He is so growing soft. He just looks at her and doesn't say a word. I look at Jorge, who proudly smiles at me, leans closer to me and gives me a quickly kiss on my lips. "Oh, sorry," he says and waits for Marc's response. But nothing. He is still staring at the girl. "It's okay," I smiled. "Today everything is allowed," I add and caress his cheek. "You did a great job. I am so proud of you," he said.
Mum and Roser return to the room. "Smile," Roser said, taking a picture of us. "Boys, will we let Sara rest a bit now?" mum said. Jorge gets up, kisses me on the cheek and walks to the door. "Marc," he calls, when he finally awake. "Let's leave Sara to rest," mum repeats. "Y-yeah, I'm coming. Can anyone help me? I don't want to hurt her," he says, slowly standing up with a girl in his arms. Roser gets to him and takes her. "Bye," I wave to her, when she gives her to Jorge. They walk out of the room together. Marc leans to me and kisses me: "You're unbelievable. I love you so much," he said, then he left.

"Sara, wake up," I hear mum's voice. I slowly open my eyes and see my mum, Roser and Dr. Alvarez. "Hello," he greets me. "Hi," I greet him back with a sleepy voice and sit upright. "I'd like to check you out," he said. "S-sure. How long have I slept?"
"About an hour," Roser says when I nod. "We'll let you alone," mum said, turning to leave. "Where is my baby?" I ask. "In the living room, with Alex. He's so impressed," Roser replies. I smile, then they leave. The doctor examines me, measure the pressure. "Roser and Maria have done their work more than excellent," he said and takes off latex gloves. "Right? I am very grateful to them," I agree. The doctor smiles and writes something in the file. "Ehm... when will we do the paternity test?" I ask quietly. "I have already take all three samples of saliva and blood. I will send them to the laboratory tomorrow morning, so the results will be known at the end of the week. The boys said I should send them by post. You agree?"
I nod: "Of course. Thank you very much."
"You're welcome. I checked the girl too. She's healthy, she's 50 centimeters big and she weighs 3200 grams. In two weeks you have to visit a counselling service."
"Fine," I smile. "I wish you all the best and I congratulate you. If you need anything, you know where to find me," he says, when we shake hands. "Thank you," I thanked, when Gloria enters the room. "I am sorry to bother. The little girl is hungry, it's time for first breastfeeding," she says with a baby in her hands. "I am just leaving. Goodbye," doctor says. "Goodbye," I said back, when I take my daughter in my hands. "Congrats, sister. She is so beautiful," Gloria said and kisses me on my cheek. "Thanks. What do you think, to who is she like?" I ask. "I think it's too early to talk about similarities. Well, she has light hair..." I nod quietly. I am sure that Jorge is her dad. The little one starts to cry. "Oh, I am sorry. You're hungry," I say, then I move straps of my dress and a bra from my shoulder and the girl immediately sucks on my chest. "I'll let you alone," sister said and left. Baby is eating, when Marc enter the room with a cup of tea. "Oh, baby, bon appetite," he said and put the cup on the nightstand. "Can daddy also get some milk?" he asks when I smile: "You can get only a one big kiss." He leaned toward me and kissed me. "Have you talk with Jorge about her name?" I ask. "Yeah, but we both think that the name can be chosen by Alex. Well, if it's right for you?"
"Great idea. Have you already told him?"
"No, we were waiting for your confirmation."
"Then let's wait for the girl to finish eating. We will all speak with him."
