Midoriya's POV

Midoriya groaned as he lifted himself off the bed. It was 6:30 in the morning and breakfast started at 7. He thought about the previous day and how he would be able to move his arms now in his upgraded costume. He found himself staring at his costume with a dorky smile plastered on his face. It wasn't perfect, but he knew that one day, his arms would heal and he would be able to save more people. He didn't think he would get that chance sooner than later.

Midoriya took a quick shower and put on his uniform. Ever since moving in, he was worried about how his mom was holding up. I should probably pay her a visit sometime today, he thought.

He grabbed his bag and started towards the other building for breakfast. His thoughts somehow drifted towards a certain boy. He didn't know why Todoroki was always on his mind lately. He thought about how he always helped others even though he was super serious all the time. And when he laughed with Midoriya the day before because of his muffled voice, he felt an odd lurching feeling in his stomach.

Probably just the first time he's actually laughed in a while...

Midoriya smiled at the thought as he sat down with his friends at the breakfast tables. It surprised him how just three months at UA gave him a whole family. They looked out for each other and never let anyone down. That was what made their year so special. And since they were now all training to be heroes together, it made them closer together. Midoriya smiled as he looked at every single person in the room.

He didn't notice Todoroki sit down beside him again. "Good morning," he said and Midoriya's head snapped towards his low voice.

"O-Oh! Todoroki-kun! When did you get here?" He stuttered, mentally slapping himself. Why was he stuttering? And why did he feel so weird?

Todoroki's eyes twinkled as he said, "Just now, Midoriya."

The green haired boy laughed, fighting the small blush that threatened to creep up on his cheeks. They ate in silence for a while, before Midoriya broke it.

"I was thinking about visiting my mom today," he said as he fidgeted with his fork, "She barely let me attend this school. She thought it was too dangerous for me, you know since I always jump into things headfirst and end up getting hospitalized. I just want her to know that it's not the school's fault...It's mine."

Todoroki stared at him with a gentle expression on his face. He silently nodded. "Midoriya, that's what it takes to be a hero. Risks. Just assure her that you will be more careful the next time. Although I have a feeling that you won't, knowing you," he gave a small smile.

Midoriya smiled at him, staring into his pretty eyes. "You're probably not wrong." They finished breakfast in silence and Midoriya decided to visit his mom after their training for the day.

Third Person POV

"Did you hear that, Shigaraki?! He's visiting his mom!" Himiko giggled into the mouthpiece. "I don't like that other boy though, Todoroki. I know feelings when I see them and I don't need anyone getting in the way of my love for Izuku..."

"Shut up, Himiko. You can't kill Midoriya yet," Shigaraki's kiddish voice spoke on the other end, "But you are right about one thing. That boy, Todoroki, he's a potential threat. He will definitely get in the way of what we need to do. Try to keep them away from each other."

"I love Izuku so much...The way his green hair curls and his emerald eyes twinkle makes me want to kill him and keep his corpse." The crazy girl yelled loudly into the mouthpiece, blushing madly.

"What the fuck. Just keep spying on him," Shigaraki demanded. He could practically hear Himiko nodding childishly on the other end.

Midoriya's POV

It was day two of practicing signature moves. All Might watched Midoriya use full cowl on his whole body and leap around the clone, then using One For All on his leg and kicking it, making it disperse into thin air. Midoriya triumphantly walked back to All Might, who was smiling warmly at him.

"That was awesome," he stated happily, "Just remember to imagine the egg not breaking in the microwave and you won't get unnecessarily hurt." Midoriya nodded.

"Hai! Thank you, All Might."

He watched the others practice their signature moves and Todoroki caught his eye. He was swiftly moving both his arms that allowed him to use both fire and ice at the same time. Ever since their fight and what Midoriya said, Todoroki wasn't too bothered by his left side anymore. He was able to use it when they were in need of it most. But he also used it to help people heat things, which in Midoriya's opinion, was really cute.

Todoroki turned his head and caught Midoriya staring at him with a dazed gleam in his eyes. Midoriya stifled a gasp and snapped his eyes away. Since he looked away, he missed the involuntary blush that appeared on Todoroki's cheeks.

Midoriya wondered why he was acting all nervous around Todoroki again. He attempted to hide his blush, but to no avail. All Might noticed this and walked towards Midoriya. He stood in front of him with his hands on his hips.

"Young Midoriya, you look flushed. Do you have a fever?" He said as he placed his hand on Midoriya's forehead, worriedly. Midoriya's eyes widened. Was he really blushing that hard over something so little? Something was wrong with him. He decided to ask All Might.

"All Might, can I ask you something?..."

"Of course, young Midoriya."

Midoriya scratched the back of his neck, nervously. "Um, can we talk in the halls?"

He nodded and they both silently walked outside of the gym. Midoriya let himself go, the blush taking over his freckled cheeks. "All Might?" He looked worriedly at Midoriya and nodded for him to go on.

"I wanted to talk about...Todoroki."

A/N: This was originally supposed to be a short tododeku fanfiction but...I went a little overboard. Hoped you liked the second chapter!
