Todoroki's POV

Todoroki couldn't sleep. The whole night, he had a certain green-eyed boy on his mind. His feelings were getting stronger every day and he questioned if he could contain it any longer. Everything he saw, everything he did always lead back to thoughts of him.

His silky curls, gleaming emerald eyes, adorable lightly freckled cheeks.

Todoroki sighed. He was going to have to tell Midoriya how he felt or else the tension would be too much on him. Rejected or not, he needed to get it off his chest. He thought about what would happen if Midoriya actually liked him back. Would they date? What would everyone else think?

Screw them if they think it's weird, love is love, no matter if you're a boy who likes another boy. After mentally debating with himself, Todoroki decided to tell Midoriya how he felt the next day. They were really good friends and Todoroki knew it would stay that way even if he did get his romantic feelings for Midoriya rejected.

Now I'm really not gonna get any sleep tonight, goddammit.

Midoriya's POV

As Midoriya lay in bed that night, he couldn't help but think of how well life at UA was going.

He finally learned how to use his new costume upgrade, which would help him get his provisional license, and he made a new friend, Himari.

His other friends were also very supportive of him and all cared about him so much. Especially...Todoroki.

Midoriya groaned, annoyed at the memory of All Might's conversation with him. He didn't really see him at all today, because he was busy welcoming Himari into the dorms. Just the thought of seeing his gorgeous face made his stomach churn.

He felt heat rising up his cheeks as he remembered the way he kissed his hand, gently and softly. His lips were cool against his burning hand. Midoriya had a goofy, lovesick smile on his face and he closed his eyes. He tried to imagine how they'd be if they were an actual couple.

Him and Todoroki.

Together.

They would go on dates and have fun. Maybe even kiss a little.

Wait...no. Midoriya, you're going too far!

He rolled around and quickly fell asleep in his fuzzy thoughts.

.................................

Midoriya stirred awake and smiled to himself. His room was lit by the morning sun and he could hear birds chirping in the distance. It was Saturday and there would be no classes until Monday morning. It was going to be a great weekend.

Midoriya got up out of bed and went to take a quick shower. He threw on a plain, orange colored shirt along with some jeans. Kirishima said he was going to treat class 1-A to a barbecue for the trouble he caused that one night while they were going to save Kacchan. It was to be held in the evening and everyone from class 1-A would be there, all his friends including Himari.

Midoriya thought of this as he walked down the stairs to breakfast. He saw Himari on the way. Her dorm was placed next to Mineta's, unfortunately for her. She was going to have to deal with his...whatever goes on in his dirty mind.

"Himari-san!" Midoriya caught up to her. She turned back and smiled once she saw it was him.

"Midoriya-kun, good morning! Are we going to eat breakfast with Uraraka and Iida?"

Midoriya walked with her towards the breakfast tables.

"Yeah, they're sitting over there already. Let's get breakfast," he said as he led her to the table where Uraraka and Iida were waiting for them.

They sat together and Himari giggled as she watched Midoriya piling sticky white rice on his plate along with some chicken. Himari grabbed a bowl of miso soup and they began eating.

"Himari-san, I've been wondering, what's your quirk?" Midoriya asked.

He was very interested in learning about other people's quirks and he was particularly interested in hers. Her smile quickly faltered and was replaced with a troubled look.

"I'll tell you just don't...don't tell anyone else okay? I've been bullied for my quirk. Many people in my junior high told me that my quirk was just like a villain's."

Her eyes watered and she quickly blinked them away. Midoriya wanted to tell her so badly. He wanted to tell her he understood how it felt to be bullied about someone's quirk, considering he didn't have one in junior high. But he kept silent, and just stared at her, sympathetically.

"I can twist reality. Change how things look to other people. I know...you probably think the same as the others. It's true though, my quirk is suitable for a villain. That's why I wanted to come here. I want to be a hero to show people that my quirk can and will be used for good purposes."

Midoriya stared at her with wide eyes for a while. She noticed this and got up to walk away, upset at his reaction. But Midoriya wasn't shocked because of her quirk. He was amazed that she had so much determination to show people that she could be a hero even with her unique quirk. In fact, he thought it was quite awesome. He noticed her walking away and he got up and ran after her.

"Himari-san, wait-"

Himari turned to look at him, tears were falling down her face. A piece of Midoriya's heart cracked as he saw her looking so broken.

"Himari-san...let's talk outside. Trust me," he gave her a genuine soft smile and took her hand softly, leading her outside into the halls.

He needed to get away from the stares of his classmates. As he closed the door, he heard someone say, "Breaking her heart already, fucking Deku." It was Kacchan.

Himari's tears were gone, and she was staring at Midoriya questioningly. Midoriya sighed and grabbed her shoulders. "Himari-san, you have an amazing quirk. I was so moved by your story that I was frozen. I think this is a great reason to become a hero. People will see how amazing you can be even with your quirk. Don't be afraid to tell others your quirk, we're all a family here and we support each other, no matter what the problem is."

Midoriya was surprised when he saw her crying again.

"Himari-san-"

She stepped closer to Midoriya and wrapped her arms around his neck, burying her face in his chest. He found comfort in her embrace and hugged her back, smiling. He was happy she understood.

A/N: Aww I love Himari. She kind of reminds me of Shinsou. BUT WHAT ABOUT TODOROKI??! Anyway, next chapter coming really soon. Since it's summer, I have a lot more time to write so expect updates quick!
