They'll Never Know

Chapter 6

Midoriya's POV

It had been a long day and Midoriya was exhausted. He closed the door of his dorm behind him and walked up to the windows. He stared outside at the twinkling stars and crescent moon that seemed to light up his room. They were so beautiful. 

Almost as beautiful as...Todoroki's eyes. 

Midoriya mentally slapped himself. He needed to stop thinking about Todoroki. After All Might talked to him, he suddenly had a horrible feeling that it was true. 

He liked Todoroki. 

Like liked him. 

Midoriya blushed and unlocked the patio, stepping out onto the balcony. A cool breeze blew through his soft hair and tingled his skin. Maybe one day he would tell Todoroki how he felt. He knew Todoroki wouldn't reject him so harshly, they were friends. 

Wait...He kissed my hand today!

Midoriya's eyes widened as he remembered himself trip onto Todoroki. He was so warm and when he looked up at him, Todoroki burst into flames. 

What was that about? Midoriya wondered.

Midoriya's right hand was slightly burnt, it didn't hurt at all though. Then Todoroki started crying and apologizing and even ended up kissing his hand. 

His lips were so soft, he wanted to feel them forever. 

Midoriya felt a fuzzy sensation wash over him and he stepped back into his room. Locking the patio, he plopped down on his bed, surrounded in his thoughts of Todoroki. They quickly put Midoriya to sleep. 

It was about 3:07 am when Midoriya woke up with a cold start. He felt a weird presence around him, which had waken him up. Groggily, Midoriya looked around his room for any signs of someone inside. Seeing no one he mentally cursed himself and went back to sleep.

Midoriya woke up to his alarm and quickly shut it off. Sunlight was seeping through the curtains into his room. He threw them open and went to get ready for breakfast. He saw Kaminari, Iida, and Jiro as he walked downstairs. 

"Do you know that new girl, Himari? She's movin' in our dorms today." 

Midoriya stopped. Somebody transferred? But who would have a good enough quirk to be allowed into the UA dorms immediately? 

"Hey guys," Midoriya caught up to them and walked with them towards the other building. 

"Oh, good morning, Midoriya," Iida greeted. 

"Who were you guys talking about?" They all looked at each other for a moment then burst out laughing. 

"Bro, you seriously don't know?" Kaminari laughed. 

Midoriya just stared at them, confused. 

"Sakura Himari, 14. She was the smartest in her junior high and has a quirk that got her straight into UA. The UA teachers approved! She was supposed to move in in a few months, but they're letting her move into our dorms today if she wanted." 

Midoriya frowned. She sounded familiar. "What does she look like?" 

Jiro patted him on the shoulder. "Well, she's moving in right now so we might as well just go see her after breakfast." 

Midoriya nodded and they all piled breakfast onto their plates. Uraraka and Todoroki sat with them as well. Midoriya felt heat creeping up his cheeks when he saw Todoroki. Todoroki smiled at him, a warm, fluffy smile he never saw before. Midoriya flashed him a closed-eyed smile and went back to eating his food.
