Todoroki followed Midoriya as he walked towards his mom's apartment.

As they were walking, Midoriya seemed to trip over something and Todoroki caught him just as he was about to fall. His hands were grasping Todoroki's arms tightly and he was panting slightly.

What a sight... Todoroki thought, Wait... What did I just think?!

Midoriya lifted his head and when they locked eyes, he blushed so hard he thought his face was actually burning. Midoriya confirmed his thoughts.

"Todoroki-kun, you're on fire!" Midoriya yelped and shot away from Todoroki's sizzling arm.

He looked down at himself. There were flames engulfing his whole left arm, and his hair was also on fire. Oh shit...Why did this have to happen right now?!

Todoroki used his right hand to calm the fire by touching his left arm. The flames gradually died down, leaving him even more embarrassed than before.

"Midoriya...I don't know what happened. I'm sorry. Did I hurt you?" He asked, worry flooding his attractive features.

Midoriya calmed down and there was a slight blush on his freckled cheeks. "No! It's nothing, really!" But Todoroki noticed Midoriya's right hand was slightly pink. He lifted a hand to cup his mouth in disbelief.

"Oh my god, Midoriya...I'm so sorry," he whispered, his voice cracking.

He could feel tears blur his eyes, something that rarely happened and he moved before he could stop himself. He slipped his hand underneath Midoriya's and lifted it up to himself, examining it. It was the same hand that he had damaged before in the sports festival. He felt a teardrop fall of his cheeks and on to Midoriya's hand.

"Todoroki-kun...don't cry. Please don't cry, you didn't hurt me one bit. I actually thought it was kind of...cute."

This gave Todoroki the courage to lift up Midoriya's hand to his lips and kiss it gently. When he looked up at Midoriya, he stifled a chuckle.

The boy's cheeks were bright red and his emerald eyes were filled with an unknown emotion. He didn't let go of Midoriya's hand. "Then, let's get to your mom's house then." Midoriya squeezed his hand in return and nodded.

His mom's apartment was visible and Midoriya tugged Todoroki up the flight of stairs. He waited for a second outside her door before knocking in the beat of All Might's theme song. She knew it was him without opening the door.

"IZUKU!!!"

He heard a scream coming from inside the house and the door immediately opened. Midoriya practically flew into his mother's arms.

"Ohh Izuku..." She whispered into his shoulder as she stroked green-tipped strands of his hair.

"Mom," Midoriya was smiling, an adorable little kid smile that would make adults faint from happiness.

Todoroki was leaning against the railing, smiling at the two. Inko Midoriya's hair was the same color as Midoriya's, it was half-tied in the back. She was shorter than Midoriya and seemed like an amazing mother. She opened her eyes while she was still hugging Midoriya and saw Todoroki.

"Ohh Izuku, who's this?" She asked smiling slyly at him. Todoroki fought a blush. Midoriya pulled away from his mother and looked at Todoroki.

"That's Todoroki-kun. He's my friend back at UA. He came with me to see you." Todoroki gave a small smile and Inko gasped, excitedly.

"Oh hi, sweetie! Thanks for coming with Izuku..." She walked over to Todoroki and wrapped him in the biggest bear hug. He leaned forward and placed a hand on her back. She pulled away and dragged them inside her apartment.

"Mom, I just came to see you. I was worried that-"

"Oh, Izuku...As long as you're healthy, I won't be worried. I'm so glad you took my advice."

Midoriya stared down at his shoes, his eyes wide. He was probably remembering the incident that happened just an hour ago. He did save someone, but he was at risk of hurting himself again. Todoroki was just glad that he didn't. He knew Midoriya was strong and could take on some construction supplies without getting hurt.

"Yeah...mom, I have good news," he said, smiling. Inko perked up and patted the spot next to her on the couch for Midoriya and Todoroki to sit. They both sat down and Midoriya began, "My friend at UA, her name is Hatsume-san. She designed arm braces for my costume. Now, I'll be able to move my arms without much trouble and they'll heal quicker."

Inko beamed at her son and closed her eyes, smiling to herself. "Oh, Izuku, that's just wonderful! I'm so proud of you. Make sure to tell Hatsume that I gave my greatest thanks." She got up off the couch and started towards the kitchen. "I'll get you boys some tea."

Midoriya was up in an instant. "No, mom! It's okay. We need to get going anyway or else we'll be late for our next class."

Inko smiled and ran a hand through Midoriya's hair, messing it up a little. This made Todoroki hold back a chuckle.

"Okay then. You boys be safe on the way back to UA, alright?"

They both nodded and headed towards the front door. Todoroki instantly knew that Midoriya's mom was very supportive. His thoughts drifted to his own mother and he sighed, looking down. Once his mother closed the door, Midoriya noticed Todoroki's change in mood.

"Todoroki-kun, are you alright?"

Todoroki suddenly became aware that he was thinking about his own family again and tried to push those thoughts out of his head.

"Yeah...I was just thinking about my family. But I don't really want to...so let's get going."

Midoriya looked at Todoroki softly for a second, before walking with him back to UA.

Thankfully, Midoriya and Todoroki got back to UA just in time for evening classes. They found Uraraka and Lida and sat down next to them in the classroom. Todoroki was thinking about the day's events. So much had happened in the course of a day. Todoroki thought back to Midoriya tripping and how he kissed his hand.

Dammit, I was so stupid! He likes Uraraka and I kissed his hand.

Todoroki blushed at the memory of his soft hand underneath his lips. It felt so good, he didn't want it to end. Todoroki was falling. And he was falling fast.

Third Person POV

"How did you get discharged?..."

"It was easy, Shigaraki. They think I'm so sweet! It's only a matter of time." Himiko's squeaky voice broke out in the dark room and she pulled the hair ties out of her hair, making her blonde hair fall and cascade over her shoulders.
