[09] dont play urself

"hey!" diego greeted skies as he sat beside me. skies gave him a nod with a smile.

diego wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him, leaving a peck on my lips.

by now it was normal for him and skies. i bet both of them still had second intentions when we were all three together, but neither of them complained about anything like this.

"so y'all going on tour, huh?" diego mentioned, looking at me then at skies.

"i guess so." skies replied with a giggle while he looked down to his hands. he then looked back up at me with a big ass smile on his face, which made me smile wide just like him.

"how did you two end up meeting?" diego asked, breaking the silence while we were laying in bed.

"us two who?"

"you and skies."

"oh, of course. when i left chelsey's office he was walking by. we talked for a bit and decided to go to that café because we were both starving." i replied not caring that much, since i was paying more attention to my phone.

"sure?"

"what do you mean, diego?" i frowned, for the first time looking at his face on this talk.

"i don't know... i think it's because you two haven't hung out in awhile, then you suddenly text me saying you're with him in a café." he shrugs, but looks deep in my eyes.

"diego, friends sometimes like to meet up after a long time." i glanced at him ironically.

"i know. but you and skies are different. you two have been in a relationship."

"no we haven't. it ended before it started." why was he saying all of that, honestly? "what's wrong?"

"what do you mean?"
