[11] she got diego now

i have been thinking about what lana said for the whole week. since it had been one week, now there was only another week left until i'll be on the road with skies.

maybe what she said makes sense. maybe i should try it. and honestly, i don't see no other option.

i gotta do what's best for me, right?

"watchu thinking about?" diego catches me off guard as he jumps on top of me and lays his head on my chest, looking straight at me.

"nothing." i reply. "just random shit."

"mmmmm, 'kay." he says and turns his head to the side, now not being able to look at me. "i wanna spend this week with you, in a different way. i wanna go out and spoil you, make you a happy woman before you leave me." he pouts his lips as an act of sadness.

"aww. fine, but no need to spoil m-"

"shhhh. you know how i love to spoil my baby girl." he turns back to me and give a long peck to my lips. "i love you."

"love you." i say it back, wondering if i'll say the same thing in a few weeks.

"now, get up and put some sexy ass clothes on. we're going out." he stands up and pulls my arm, trying to get me to stand up too.

i stand up and stay still beside him. "going out... where?"

"on a date."

"a date?" i chuckle.

"yeah, what's wrong with it?"

"nun. i'll go change now." i turn around to head upstairs as i hear — and feel — his hand slapping my ass. "fuck you, diego."

"couldn't help it ma."

"diego and kota are in a date." i told landon altogether with a sigh as i looked my phone and threw it beside me, on the couch.

"who said that?"

"a fan of him posted a picture with him and said kota was with him. and i believe it, because they're a couple. an official one." i've been doing everything i could to forget or get over dakota. but she won't ever leave my mind. it's a fucking torture to watch her with diego. i could have made her happy, this could be me right now taking her on a date. but i'm way too stupid. i won't ever forgive myself for what i did.

"one more week left bro, then you'll be with her every day."

"i bet it will only make things worse. she'll just be around me every time and i won't be able to touch her or call her mine. this will be more torturing than now. it was a fucking mistake. i swear i only don't dump her now because i know being on tour will help her career and i don't want to ruin her happiness."

"don't say that. you've changed and learned your lesson. she'll see that, trust me. she'll eventually see that you've changed a lot ever since that happened." landon passed the blunt over and i took it.

"but she got diego now, man. there's no reason why she would leave him for me. he's only done good to her."

guys today i looked up "#lilskies" and sublime (the first book) was the second one to be seen while this book was a few stories away 🤧🤧🤧 i'm so happy.
i'm not sure if i've ever told y'all but english is not my mother language, i moved from my country a year and a half ago and when i moved i knew 0 english, so it's a big achievement for me to be writing a story and having ppl to like it u know? i'm rly happy :') thanks for that bc without u guys it wouldn't be possible i deadass love y'all 🤧💓
