"Jeno?"
"Yes Jaemin?" I casually answered.
"Why do you work night shift?"
"Well," I started, placing my hand on the nape of my neck. "When I applied for this job, I didn't know I was gonna handle night shift. When they told me I was, it was a bit of a shock, you know, I had to ponder sacrificing my sleep. It's honestly fine now, I don't really mind."
A soft laugh escaped my lips.
"I just wanted to say thank you. For being here at this time." he looked down at his hands, fiddling with his fingers.
"No problem Jaemin. I'm just doing my job."
This time when he smiled, he showed his perfectly white and straight teeth - it was absolutely stunning.
Pure genuineness radiated from it.
He should smile like that more often.
