(I couldn't make up my mind, so I'll do all of them! Hehe...)

|·Aika·|

After the death of King Gangrel, my father, Validar took the throne of Plegia- he was formerly the tactician, almost died trying to kill the exalt of Ylisstol, Emmeryn.
...But, of course, Ylisse would have to negotiate one day.
...and that was today.

"Darling? May I come in?" I know that voice all too well. "Yes, of course, Aversa." Aversa... She was like a big sister to me- yet, I envied her... But, she was always nice to me. "You know of the negotiations today, correct?"
I nod.

"Father says he wants you to be a part of the negotiations today, if you do not mind. Oh, and how are your studies?"
"They're perfect, I'm going along with it very well. And... I-is it truly alright if... If I can be a part of this?"

Aversa nodded. "Why, yes of course. Our dear brother will be there aswell. Be sure to cover that mark, yes?"
"Mhm- er, yes Aversa. Should I be armed with a tome, or something?"
"Hehe... I don't see why not. Oh, and do please fix your twintails,"

"Why?"

"We'd like to look our best; you are very cute, don't worry. But, please go to the throne room in two hours. Goodbye," the door shut, and I was concealed in my room once again.

I look in the mirror, seeing no problem with my hair... Perhaps she was just trying to hide her compliment.
__________

"...Huh? Is... Is that them?" I bend further out the balcony, trying to stay as concealed as possible. It's like father never had a daughter- he never talked about me. Thus, the hidden balcony was covered with trees, yet gave me a perfect view of... Everything.

"Sis? Are you sure this is wise?"
"...Yes. I am sure. Plegia is at peace with Ylisstol."

"DAMN IT!...I forgot about the throne room!" I sprinted down the stupid staircase, and made my way to the throne room, just to see the Ylisseans arrive.

"There you are, sleepyhead."

"HEY! I'm not a sleepyhead! Hmpf,"
My brother rolls his eyes. "No worries, sis, I meant no harm."

"Enough with the bickering, Riku and Aika," Aversa whispered. "They're staring." I obey, and put on my 'serious' act.

"Why, good day, Ylisseans. How is the day treating you?" I smile at them brightly. "Fine, thank you...?"
"Oh, I'm sorry. Excuse my lack of manners. I'm Aversa- I serve lord Validar. These are his children."

"Hi there! I'm Aika. This is my jerk face big broth-"
"Ahem... ignore my little sister, please. She's a bit... annoying at times." I pout. "Hey! It's not my fault that you're a grump-"

"Er... ahem, I'm Emmeryn... these are my siblings, Chrom and Lissa."

"Please excuse my daughter for her lack of manners- she's... still quite learning." Father said, as he came from behind us.
"Lord Validar, please-"

"Forgive me, father..." 'Am I never going to be good enough for him? Will I ever get him to recognize me?'

"Plegia can offer 800 warships and 200 transports." Aversa started. "We cannot offer any soldiers, I'm afraid- the army is still in shambles from the last war." Father added. "We can participate on the campaign for Valm, aswell."

"Oh. Fair enough," Chrom muttered. "We'll be on our way, then. Thank you-"

"Oh, and please do be careful on the way back to Port Ferox," Aversa added, grinning. "These times are known to be... Quite treacherous."
___

"'Stay in your room and study... Perfect your skills to surpass everyone,' father told me... AGH! Damn it all!...just... Damn it... Damn it all. I'm turning 19 in a month! Let me make my own choices," I bring a Levin Sword and arc tomes. "...Who knows," I mutter. "Maybe some good cupcakes await me. Hehe..."
__________

"...Hmpf! I can get down-WHOOAA!" I fell from the balcony- surprisingly, I was still alive. "Jeez... H-how the hell am I still alive- Huh?" I paused, adjusting to my surroundings.

"...Risen? Wait... What?" I listened once more, adjusting to the sound.

"CAW! CAW! Are you folks lost? Or perhaps a lost CAWs! Nyahahaha!"
I knew that voice all too well- a childhood friend, Henry.

"Henry...!" I ran toward the noises of the crows, and hid within the bushes. "...I'd wish you good luck to kill these monsters, but... THEY'RE ALREADY DEAD! Nyahaha!"

"PFFT-! Haha...heh..."

"Yes, we are well aware!"
___

"...Arcfire!" I whisper, as I aim toward the nearest Risen.
"Heh...-!" I saw the same one in the palace- Chrom, I think his name was...
He was having trouble with the Risen. What was the point of staying hidden if you intend to help the Ylisseans out?

He really was in trouble. The Risen raised its axe, while Chrom was trying to get up. 'Don't be an idiot! HELP, DAMN YOU!' "Watch out!"

I reached him on time, and used my sword to block the axe. "Heh... You're one of father's servants, eh? Well, then..." Lightning spreads from the sword, to the axe.
...and then to the Risen. "Sleep well," I stab it, smiling.

"...! P-Princess Aik-"
"Hold on there, Chrom," I say, holding my hand up. "I hate formalities. So, call me Aika, please." He nodded. "Right... Thank you, Aika."
"No problem! Now... As for the rest o-"

"AIKA!?? Oh, my little dear!"
"Tharja! Hehe, hi!" She hugged me- she, aswell was like a big sister to me.
"...Why are you fighting? You're 18! You're too precious-"

"Wait, she's 18!? That's... Well, you're the youngest kid here, then..." I shrug. "I was raised by a tactician, remember? I can fight. Eh... Anyway, let's finish the rest of these Risen."
_____

"That's all, I think..." Emmeryn said. "Now, Aika, what are you doing h-"
"...L-let me join your cause, please!" I bowed slightly to Emmeryn. "I-I can fight! I can be a big help, please!" She shook her head. "I'm sorry dear, but a 16 year old in an army that used to be their enemy? It's... I'm sorry,"

"...I wanna prove to my damned father that I'm more than just his daughter that he pretends that doesn't exist... I can prove to him... So if you'll have me, please..."

Emmeryn looked to Chrom, then to Lissa. "...Alright. We accept, Aika..."
"YAY! Thank you so, so much!"
_____

The outside world from Plegia was... Beautiful. Plegia was dark and gloomy; no sunsets. No sunrises. Only darkness- Like in Nohr, in mythical books.

"Aika? How are you holding up?" I put my book down, and looked up. "I'm fine!...oh, I have a question, Chrom."

"Oh? What is it?" I inhaled. "...do you have any cupcakes?"

"Er... I'll check, alright? You just get some sleep." He exited my tent, and I was left once again.
_____

"Ooohh..." Sunrises were beautiful- I pity myself... But, who cares now, anyway? I have my life for my own, not to be ruled by anyone else.

And I loved it.
