Chapter 10 "Friends"

*Mariyah pov*

"Do you want to watch a movie?" Henry ask

"Sure"

"What movie do you want to watch?" He raised both of his brows up

"Anything"

"I always watch horor movies whenever I go to theater" said Henry "so we just watch this ok?" He pointed out the movie

"You like horor movies?" I frown

"Well yeah" he frown "I love action movies and Horor actually"

"I love horor movies too"

"Awesome so we can watch together" he said

"Sure"

We choose the horor movie. After then Henry bought medium popcorn and 1 drink for us to share. I want to share money with him but he insisted he want to treat, and I thank him a lot of times.

We watch the movie, we did laugh in there, when the scary scene came and I jump. But then, I wanted to take one popcorn, Is at the middle of us. I put my hand there and suddenly I felt Henry hand were there, I wanted to pull away but Henry grab my hand and slowly he trace his fingers into mine. My heart skip/beating really fast, my stomach feel like butterflies.

I look into his direction, he was watching the movie while smiling and I know, he notice that he put his fingers on mine. Oh no, Sarah is my best friend. I can't do this to her, but If I let go of my hand, I'll feel bad for him.

After movie it was like 8pm night. It was akward at first but I try to make conversation, I looked at him, he's cheeks turn red and he look nervous.

"I'm sorry" he said

"Why you kept on apologising?" I chuckle

"I don't meant to be rude in the theater" Said Henry while his hands holding his back of the neck

I just smile "I should be going home now"

"Yeah I'll sent you home" said Henry

"You know is fine, I can go back home alone"

"No I'll sent you back" he insisted

I nodded and thank him

"We should totally hangout again"

"Yeah we should" I said and he smile brightly "but with Sarah"

"Oh" he suddenly looked dissapointed "well then, I should be going now"

"Take care" I stated, he smile and walk away

I open the doorknob with my key and my parents were at the living room watching TV.

"Hey you're back" said mom

"So how was your date?" Dad grinn

"He's just a friend dad, I will never ever date him, he's Sarah's crush" I explained "I will never backstab my friend"

"Sometimes friends can become lover" said mom

"Well he's a nice guy" dad frown

"Momm, daddd" I cramp my face "he is not my type"

"But he's our type" said mom

"Ha ha very funny"

"You're still 15 honey, study first" said dad

"I will"

I went back to my room, take a nice warm shower and change into my pajamas , then I fall asleep.

"MARIYAHH!!" an annoying voiced wake me up. I felt hands were on my shoulder and a body on my bed. I force my heavy eyes to wake up to see who was it and it was Sarah.

"Omg Sarah what are you doing in here?" I sat down and try to open my eyes. I then saw Sarah hold my secret book, which is filled with Dustin pictures and sweet words for him. Oh shit

I grab my book away from Sarah and hugg it. I look at Sarah face and she was smirking all the way.

"Why didn't you tell me?" She ask

"It's none of your business" I stood up and put my book at my cuboard and lock it "what are you doing here in so early anyway"

"Well I just wanted to see you, I missed you. So I went to your place, I saw the book on your table,I read it and-"

"Ok,ok I like Dustin for-"

"3 years" she completed my words

I roll my eyes and

"Yeah"

"But he's being mean to you" said Sarah. I then went to sit beside her and sigh

"I know but I like him so much"

"You know He's been dating like 25 girls for 3 years since he came to this school right?"

"I know, I even see his picture with his girlfriend sucking tongue" I said

"What?" She confused "how?"

"Well that time, teacher have to spot check childrens phone, whoever downloaded porn will be expel or whatever shit. That time Dustin sat beside me and after teacher check his phone he showed me a picture of him and his girlfriend licking each other toungue" I explain

"You're jealous?" She smirk

"Of course I am, I'm his stupid fatty crush" I said

"You're not fat, plus you're losing weight, I bet Dustin will be crazy over you" said Sarah
