The creature knelt down, examining the wound. He slightly touched it, only for Lyra to feel pain as soon as he made contact with the bloody cut. She hissed in pain then limped to a nearby log to sit down and tries not to make the wound even more painful than it already is. She feels unpleasant feelings from the wound, she took a deep breath to calm down and slowly looked at the creature who cocked his head on one side.
She sighed then went to grab something from her backpack, she takes out a clean towel to clean off the blood once she's done cleaning. She put pressure on the cut then she grabs a water bottle and pour it on the cut then dries it. She then grabs an antibiotic ointment and apply a little bit on the cut but once a few drops was apply, she hissed loudly in pain from the amount of stinging from the wound. Once she took a few deep breaths, she then grabbed a bandage and wrapped it around the wound and makes sure it doesn't loose easily.
The good thing is, she's no longer bleeding too much. The bad thing is, She can't run for too long or that will make the pain feel more worse. She sighed from this until she sees the creature held out his hand, offering to help her up. She did feel a little bit of pain once she stands up but once she did, the creature picked her up bridal style once again.
She was a bit shocked when he did that "Um... what are you doing?" she asked a bit surprised by the sudden action. He didn't give any sort of response as he ran again. She can feel the wind blowing in her hair.
There wasn't a lot of sunlight left now, only a dark night sky. She sighed in defeat knowing that there's no point arguing with this creature and decided looked at the night sky as he continues to run to somewhere. Her violet eyes sparkles from the light of the moon making her eyes look more beautiful, the creature noticed this from the corner of his eye but he ignored it.
The creature seemed interesting to her but she was very cautious considering he was going to hurt her when she first encounter it. She had no intention of hurting any creature not even this unknown creature, she sometimes sees the light in others even if it's not a human. She sighed and let's him carry her without hesitation since she knows it will take longer for her wound to heal if she walks, getting her no where.
Lyra's POV
I don't know what to think of all this, not only that i almost got killed by serpent-like creatures but i have this unknown human-like creature carrying me bridal style because of my injured leg. He continue to sprint in the night as he bounded over logs and jumped over mossy stones. I noticed the creatures jumping seemed high, but agile as he landed.
He jumped one last time as he landed on a high point on some tall stone. Moss covered some parts of the inside, the light from the moon peeped through some of the leaves making the light hit some areas of the stone. He walked to a moss covered platform and set me down gently on the long, green moss. He made soft growling noises, i looked at his shoulder to see a deep cut just like mine. He noticed this and i got up and make him sit down on the moss which i can tell that it surprised him.
I put down my bag and take out a clean towel from my bag and clean the blood of the creature, he let out a soft growl, probably saying that i don't need to do this. I didn't let out a respond and continue cleaning the blood. I take out the antibiotic and opened the cap.
"This will sting a bit but just endure it" I reassure him with a calming tone, he nodded in respond. I hold his arm so he won't move too much and i pour a few drops on his cut but once the liquid touched the wound, he howl loudly but not too loud so the serpents won't hear him. I quickly grab the bandage and wrapped around his wound and to make sure it doesn't get loose easily. I sighed in relief as i let go of his arm and i can tell he sighed as well.
I grabbed all of the materials and put them inside my bag again, once i'm done, i got up and went to leave but the creature stopped me before i could step outside of the dome. "I understand that you're concern of me but i need to go to one of the base to warn the others" I respond but that wasn't a truthful one. He respond with a growl which supposed to tell me that i can't go outside yet.
I was about to say something until i hear my partner's voice from my mind. 'Mistress, you should listen to him... it's not good if you don't rest well, we can search for miss Lulu tomorrow' My partner respond with a concern tone. I sighed "Alright, i'll stay here" I reply reassuring him. He didn't respond, i decide to laid back onto the moss covered platform and relax. I felt my eyes starting to feel tired, i must have used too much of my energy today. I slowly fell asleep on the moss and i felt a warm hand stroking my cheek which made me purr in my sleep.
Yautja's POV
The female ooman(Human) fell asleep as my hand stoke her cheek, causing her to let out a soft purr. I have never seen a ooman who's yeyin(Brave) and confident enough to kill the kiande amedha(Xenomorps). But... she's odd as well... This ooman have no difficulty when she was running away from the kiande amedha even with so many obstacles in the way, she knew they were in front of her even though it was lar'ja(Dark). On top of that, the ooman didn't trip at all while she was running.
No ooman can do that in the lar'ja, she wasn't holding a light so there was no possibility that this ooman can run without getting tripped.
