Sacrifice and Returning home

Marrok's POV

While my daughter is with her mate, i turned to smell the scent of the bad blood on the tree branch nearby. I didn't want to put him in danger nor getting killed in unhonorable way, he saved my daughter's life and i thanked him for that. 'Thegiodh, if you can hear me, i wished for you to go somewhere alone where no Yautja could find you' I used telepathy to communicate with him privately without letting the others know.

I feel him nodding and quietly sneaked out of there went somewhere alone. I waited for the others to get distracted, then i quietly sneaked out and follow Thegiodh scent. I found him waiting for my presence a bit far away from the other Yautjas, he noticed me and bow down with respect.

I signaled him to stand up and he obeyed, "I thanked you for saving my daughter but... if any of the Yautjas find you, they surely will kill you". "I know but i will accept my fate, i had broke my kind code of yin'tekai(Honor). If the punishment for my crimes is thei-dei(Death) then i will accept it" Thegiodh respond. This Yautja accepted his punishment, i smiled knowing that he will die in honor soon by my hands... or paws i guess.

"I'm glad to hear you say that, in return for your kindness to my daughter, I will give you a honorable death" I could already tell he's happy deep down knowing his fate won't be wasted. Without any words left to say, i let out my sharp claws and decapitated his head in one swift, his glowing green blood splatter to my face.

His headless body collapse to the ground, i gently picked up his head and placed it near his body. I bowed down in front of his body in respect of his death, i shake off the blood that was splattered on me because i didn't like the feeling of the blood covering my fur. The green blood splattered the trees, the ground and the grass when i was shaking off the blood but i didn't care.

I walked back to the others, only for all of them to stare at me with suspicion. "What?" I growled lowly at them except for my daughter, "Where were you?" One of the Yautjas asked with suspicion. I sighed, "I went to kill the last bad blood" I responded and hid the part where i had killed him honorably.

My daughter had a shock look on her face but return to normal a second later, she was probably reading my mind to see what really happened. She feel sad inside but she knows that it's for the best than letting Thegiodh die unhonorably. I walked towards my daughter as she stand up along with her mate, "It's time for us to go"The elder Yautja stated.

Everyone nodded, but before anything could happen, i smell the Nightshade smoke really near as if it was close to us. Without hesitation, I picked up my daughter by her shirt, throw her in the air and swallowed her again, everyone looked at me shocked but it wasn't long the reason why. We're all inside the smoke now, Ahn'thei explained to the Elder Yautja about the smoke and the effect that it will cause to my daughter and tell him to opening of the Mother ship for me to get inside.

The Elder nodded, he pressing some buttons on his wrist gauntlet then the mother ship reveal it self and slowly opening the entrance for me to enter. Once it's fully opened, i quickly run towards the opening without having to breath the smoke so my daughter won't inhale the smoke while she's inside me.

I manage to run inside along with other Yautjas who were also running, i can hear the loud engine of the ship being made as the entrance is closed and slowly getting off the ground to go to the sky. I sighed in relief and lay down on the floor once we were in outer space to go to Yautja prime, Ahn'thei and the elder walked towards me as i was trying to breath due to holding my breath for too long while the other Yautjas left us alone.

"Are you alright, sir?" Ahn'thei asked in concern, i forgot that i haven't told them my name yet. "Call me Marrok, Ahn'thei" I respond, the two of them nodded. I slowly gagged and i spit out or i guess throw up my daughter again but this time, she's awake instead of asleep.

Lyra's POV

After my father spit me out, i hit to the floor and was covered in saliva, dog saliva. I had a disgust look and i used my power to evaporate the saliva off of my body, my father then apologize to me for doing that so suddenly but i couldn't blame him for doing that. I looked to see my mate giving his hand and i take it with a smile as i stand up to my feet.

I then looked at my father with a smile on his face, it wasn't long for him to starting to shape shift his body into a more human like body.

Once he's done, he looks more human like, he has dark raven hair that's going up like a shadow, his skin is also black with purple lines on his arm. He had red glowing eyes that could scare any prey he sees, he wore a black coat that went to his knee, wearing no shirt, revealing his muscular chest that's filled with many scars from his battle and wearing black trouser with a bandage being wrapped just above his right knee plus a black belt around the waist of his trousers and black combat boots. On top of that, there were shadow particles from behind him to show him that he's just a shadow.

My father then stretch his arms and sigh in relief, "It's been a long time since the last time i used this form..." He responded, It is true, he didn't transform into his human form for who knows how long when he was inside my soul.

I don't know how long it felt, but it feels like it's been hours of traveling in space, my father accepted my relationship with Ahn'thei seeing that i'm happy with him. I was just staring at the universe as the ship is flying to the destination, while i was staring into space, i feel strong arms being wrapped around my waist. I smiled to see my mate without his mask on, "You're doing alright?" He asked.

"Yes" I answered him with a smile, "What were you thinking?" He asked again, I looked to the beautiful space in front of me and i smiled, "Just thinking how all of this event happened" I responded. I feel his mandibles stroking my hair as well as a few clicks heard from him, he then lowered his head and turn my face so he could pull me into a passionate kiss. I was surprised at first but then melted into the kiss.

He widened his mandibles to deepen the kiss and lifted me up a bit by the waist, i wrapped my hand around his neck to keep my balance. After a minute, we released with saliva connected to our tongue, i smiled and i can tell he is too. I noticed my father in the corner of my eye, he was watching us against the wall a bit far away from us so Ahn'thei won't noticed him. 

He looked at me knowing that i knew he's spying on us, he had an unsure look but that changed with a smile on his face. 'I'm proud of you, my little pup. You accomplish your mission without needing to kill anyone, just like your mother' I hear my father's voice inside my head with a proud tone in his voice. I smiled sweetly at him in response, he smiled proudly at me and walks away quietly so Ahn'thei won't noticed him.

Ahn'thei warmly hugged my small body, i smiled knowing everything will be fine. I have my father back to my life along with my mate. I looked at the beautiful space as the ship continue to pass by them, i feel my eyes sparkle from the stars i see. Yeah... Everything will be fine...
