Rescue

Zandra's POV

I crawled through the vent as i hear a lot of humans screaming in pain and a howl of a wolf. This is part of the plan, Lulu created a few shadow wolves to distract some soldiers so we can have time to sneak in without having them to noticed us. Unfortunately, we have to do this separately so we can finish this horrible nightmare of a mission done and my part is to rescue the Xenomorph queen. I continue to craw through the vent, i sense a Xenomorph queen to the right so i follow the sense until i reached to a vent that leads to a huge dim room with a Xenomorph queen inside.

I looked through the hole of the vent to see if there's any soldiers in there, I can only see the Xenomorph queen, she had her arms, legs and her body being chained to make sure she can't escape and a some sort of a huge ball in her drooling mouth, probably to keep her inner mouth from attacking anyone or to get herself escape but other than that, i don't see any soldiers or anything that could be a danger to me and the queen. I used my telekinesis on the screws to unscrew the cover of the air vent.

Once all of the screws are unscrewed from the cover, i kicked it causing it to make a small loud noise and causing the queen to noticed me coming out of the air vent. I crawled out of the vent and looked around the room, there were a few lights here, making the huge room a bit dim and a two doors at the end of the room, one that's for humans and the other one is probably for the queen. I turned my gaze to the queen who seemed to be struggling and screeching.

I walked closer to the queen, as i walked closer, she started to get really uncomfortable with me getting closer to her and started to screech more, i guess she thinks that i'm going to hurt her. I need to tell her that i'm here to rescue her not to hurt her.

Praetorian Xenomorph's POV

As i was keeping my 'eye' on my mother, i heard a loud metallic noise inside the room. I then smell an unfamiliar scent, this different than a human scent but yet it feels like it almost is and it couldn't be a Yautja because this is far different than their scents. This is a really unusual scent.

I crawled on the other side of the beam so i can 'see' what's going on. I 'saw' a human girl coming out of the vent, once she got out of the vent, she looked around a bit then walked towards my mother who was screeching and struggling by her presence. 'Dante, protect me' I hear my mother plead in my mind.

I obeyed her command, i jumped down from the beam and land on the cold floor. I stand up defensively in front of my mother as i hissed at the human. I felt the human girl feeling no sense of fear at all, that surprised me and my mother as well. "If you two want to be free then you need to let me help you, i am not a threat even if i was, i wouldn't be saying this nor would i even hesitated to hurt the both of you" She responded in a calming tone. She does have a point.

"Hey!" i hear a human male's voice booming inside the room. I hissed dangerously as the human male starting to walk closer. The human girl turned to face the soldier and without hesitation, she threw two knifes at the soldier's throat and front head before he could even do anything. I can hear the soldier struggling to stay alive. The human girl walked towards the soon dying soldier at a slow pace, she hold the handle of the knife that's in his throat and cut his head off of him with the knife and letting the lifeless soldier body collapse to the cold floor.

My mother and i were shocked at the sudden action this girl made, she didn't even try to reason with him. "I already knew this male is going to harm the both of you and if i reason with him, the fate will be the same" She slowly walked towards us as she's covered with a few blood. "And before you mistake me as a human, i'm not, and i'm here to get the both of you out of here" She reassured us.

"Do you trust me?"

'She didn't try to harm us, and she protected us. I will trust her and so will you too Dante' I hear my mother calming tone in my mind, i nodded in respond. I connected her mind with mine, when i did, i told her that my mother and i trusted her. She didn't say anything but just a light nod as a response, she didn't say of anything inside her mind as well.

Zandra's POV

I climbed onto the queen's body and making sure i didn't hurt her or making her feel uncomfortable. I climbed to one of the cuffs that's on her wrist, i took out a test tube filled with blue liquid that's similar to acid but it will dissolve quicker than a normal acid. I took off the lid and pour a few drops on the cuff and it instantly dissolved, i continue the same thing with the others. The queen noticed this and broke free from the chains that's on her arm and legs and she took off that ball thing that's inside her mouth.

She screeched loudly knowing that she's free, it wasn't long until i hear fading footsteps coming towards this room. I used my telekinesis on the controller for this room to open the gate, i heard the sound of the gate being automatically lifted slowly and the alarm went off. I signaled the queen to follow me to the open gate, she already knows where to escape since the opening gate is the only exit in this huge room.

The praetorian Xenomorph, who the queen calls him 'Dante', start to follow her and while he's running on all fours like a dog, he picked me up into his arms and continues following the queen while holding me in his grasp with one arm. I was shocked with his sudden action as i feel his cold chest against my head.

As the queen went through the open gate, i saw a group of soldiers coming towards us. The queen screeched dangerously at them, i can feel fear in those soldiers heart. Without hesitation, i used my powers to freeze the soldiers entire body into ice and shatter them into pieces. The two Xenomorphs were shocked but they decide to continue to try to get out of here without thinking about what they just saw.

They continue to sprint through the metallic halls, I feel the cold wind blowing my black hair. It took a while to reach the exit because a lot of soldiers were blocking the path that leads to the exit, The xenomorphs are mostly the ones who did all the killing and because i don't want them to get suspicious of me.

Once we reached the exit, there was a huge crowd of soldiers at the front, they were already aiming their guns at us. "Specimen 076, I won't allow you to escape along with the most valuable specimen that your child is holding closely" I growled when he called me a 'specimen', this human male doesn't care about the creatures lives, he only cares about himself.

But before anyone could do anything, there was an intense feeling and aura close by. I look above Dante's shoulder and saw her... Midnight. At that moment, everyone just.. froze, as if they can't move at all. I saw Lulu, Ahn'thei, Lyra and the elder predator behind Midnight and didn't try to stop her, knowing that Midnight knows what she's doing.
