Lyra just stand there doing nothing as she's watching the Yautja pressed more of the buttons on the wrist gauntlet that she had found. The yautja took the one he had on his wrist and dropped it to the floor, making a loud metallic noise. He clipped the other one onto where the other one used to be. Pressing more buttons, some noises were coming from it as in English words.
"Say your name" It said. It sounded like it was using other people's voices instead of using just one, it would be kinda hard for a human but luckily Lyra's partner talked in different voices of different people and gender so she gotten used to it.
"...Lyra" She spoke. Then the Yautja pressed more buttons which then had her voice with her saying her name. She was impressed by it.
"That's quite impressive.." A small chuckle was heard from him, she smiled softly until she realized that she never knew this Yautja's name. She turned to him, seeing that he was watching her... for some reason. "If you wouldn't mind... i would like to know your name"
"Ahn'thei" He spoke without needing to use the translator, Lyra looked at him in shocked since she never heard him talked or even think that they can talk.
"So you could talk this whole time... but you never bother to say anything...?" He clicked in response. Well the files did say they had their own language so she's not going to question it.
"Ahn'thei... That's a nice name.." She smile at him sweetly causing him to slightly blush underneath his mask. She looked around the base more, only for her to smell a familiar blood to hit her like a brick. She followed the scent and found a small pool of dried blood that's probably had already dried for a long time. She smelled the blood even if it's already dried, she felt anger boiling inside her. She knew this blood belongs to Lulu.
She took a deep breath to calm herself down, she looked around the place more until she found some bandages and other medical supplies. She sighed in relief not because she found medical supplies but because there were none of the members are here at all, if they were, they would probably try to hurt Ahn'thei. She went back to the lab, and went to the containment room where the eggs are. She gently touched the side of the eggs "[They must have been the serpents eggs..]" She thought to herself.
Ahn'thei watched her from a distance until she looked at him. "🕈☟✌❄ ✋💧 ✋❄✍ (What is it?)" She respond only for her to realize that she's talking in Wingdings. Ahn'thei looked at her "What did you say?" The translator went off from his wrist. She could tell that's he confused.
She coughed softly "I said... What is it?" She looked at him and trying not to make things more suspicious. "We should leave, i don't have an easy feeling about this place" The translator went off.
"Alright, we should probably go. I found some things that are useful... ✌☠👎 💧⚐💣☜ ✋☠☞⚐☼💣✌❄✋⚐☠ ✌👌⚐🕆❄ 💣✡ ☞☼✋☜☠👎 (And some information about my friend)"
Ahn'thei looked at her with confusion but went along with it anyways. They headed back upstairs, looking the destroyed, burnt place once again. They walked out of the base keeping their guard. 'This planet is so dangerous but yet so interesting... Reminds me when i first met Ahn'thei' Lyra thought to herself as she walked away from the base with this Yautja.
They walked away from the base as it disappeared behind the trees no longer be in sight. She noticed that the nights here were longer and the days were short but she didn't mind, she prefers the nighttime than the daytime anyways.
Lyra's POV
As we were walking, i've been thinking of these Yautja's. The others.. the two Yautja's who i had encountered, they were attacking me and were planning to kill me but since i'm not a human, i manage to put them into submission easily. I thought Ahn'thei would do the same thing when i first encounter him but i was wrong, he didn't do anything to harm me but instead he saved me and helped me. I gazed at him as he was in front of me leading the way. The files say they were aggressive and violent... but i knew that once you get to know them well, they're kind.
The sky was getting darker and darker by the minute. It was getting harder to see if i was a human in which case, i'm not. I can see clearly in the darkness without any gadget or anything that could help me in the darkness. I noticed as we were walking, Ahn'thei keeps turning his head towards me every few times. I'm surprised that he is even slowing down this much for me to keep up with him. We were then right next to each other walking at a slow pace.
"I want to go to the other bases... I need to warn them and there's something i need to check there.." I said half truthful as i was still walking normally in the darkness.
A click was heard from Ahn'thei "I know where one of them is, but it is quite far"
"How far?" I looked at him
"I can't give an exact estimate"
"... Alright" we both continue to walk for what felt like hours. "What language were you saying when we were in the lab?"
"It's called Wingdings... It's an old language but it was still used by some 'people'" I said but i know only my species uses them because we were thought how to speak and learn Wingdings when we were young. "I was thought to learn about it when i was young...." I let out a weak respond not because i don't want to talk about it but because it's making me think back of my happy memories.
Ahn'thei POV
The ooman let out a weak respond at the last sentence, she sounded like... she's sad when she respond it. "Are you okay?" The translator went off.
"... I'm ☠⚐❄(Not) fine" She talked this new language called 'Wingdings' in the middle of the sentence. I couldn't understand what it said, i never heard of this language before so this is new to me.
