(So this is just a bit of backstory. I'll keep adding whatever stuff comes to my mind)
When you were 16, your father passed away due to an illness. The android at the hospital determined a 5% chance of survival, which dropped to 3% after some complications, eventually leading to his death. You had a good relationship with him, although not perfect, but still, his passing caused you unbelievable grief.
You lived with your mother until later in life, you got a job and got married. But sooner or later, your job became obsolete due to the rise in androids, and sadly you got divorced soon after.
You decided to move to Detroit for a fresh start, still young, and wanted to become a detective at the DPD.
You're in your 30s when the story takes place.
While you have a good relationship with pretty much all your coworkers, even having found some friends, the only one you somewhat dislike is Gavin and his unpleasant nature. He would occasionally try to make a move on you, like he does with a few of your other female colleagues, but you always turn him down.
You are seated directly across from Hank Anderson, your partner. He was reluctant at first, but became a good friend in the end. He turned into somewhat of a father figure for you, and he treated you like a daughter. You go to the bar together sometimes and occasionally discuss or almost argue (sometimes both drunk) about androids, since he doesn't really like them. His level of alcohol consumption saddens you deeply, but because of your valuable friendship, it's been slowly decreasing over time.
You never had anything against androids, in fact, you're rather fascinated by them, always treating them with kindness and respect, just like humans; seeing and understanding their struggle from often being mistreated. You weren't sure what to make of the whole deviancy thing, but if all the androids want is to be free, all the more power to them, right...?
But it made your job all the more difficult, once you were assigned to cases surrounding deviancy with Hank, joined by someone that would thoroughly change your life; An android out of all things: Connor. It was just a normal, boring day of desk work for you, when suddenly, a strange new android approached...
