"Hi, my name is Connor. I'm the android sent by CyberLife. You must be Lieutenant Anderson's partner. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. Detective (L/N), correct?" he tilted his head.
You blinked a few times before responding "Uh... yeah... Detective (F/N) (L/N)... Nice to meet you, uhm, Connor... Can- Can I help you...?"
"I've been assigned to work with the both of you, assisting you with cases involving deviants."
"Ohh, I see... So... You're the one who helped the Lieutenant with the investigation yesterday and last night?"
"That is correct. When does Lieutenant Anderson usually arrive?" he looked around.
"Well, it depends on what he's up to." You shrugged at the android. "Feel free to take a seat and wait, though."You were so taken aback by all of this, you could feel your heart beating just a little bit faster from nervousness.
What is up with me... Have I been working too much?
"I see... Thank you." he sat down to the right of you, analyzing both of your desks shortly after, starting with yours.
He started by analyzing your face to find out a bit more about you.

His eyes immediately met with the digital picture frame in the left corner of your desk, switching between a family photo of you and your parents, one of your late father, and one of your pet.

Age: Approx. 15 yearsHe also took notice of your near empty cup of latte with sugar, long cold, the half-eaten sandwich you had for breakfast, and the many sticky notes around your desk and computer. With all the work you had to do, you liked taking notes and making lists, as it helps you collect your thoughts. There was also a small vase with some flowers, your favorite ones. Furthermore, he saw your phone and the music that was paused on it; Metallica. Just like Hank, you took a bit of a liking to Metal. Quite old school, in your case.
After finishing analyzing your desk, he proceeded to do the same with Hank's and was done just as you decided to end the somewhat awkward silence, by trying to strike up a conversation.
"So, uh, Connor... If you don't mind me asking... What kind of android exactly are you? I've never seen your model before."
"I'm a prototype, designed to investigate and deal with deviants. I was assigned to assist the Detroit Police Department, specifically you and Lt. Anderson, with such cases." He explained.
"Oh wow, cool... Hank never told me." you looked at him intrigued, brushing your (H/C) hair behind your ear. "Haven't seen him in a while..." You were looking at his face more closely, intrigued by his incredibly human-like features.
Damn, he's a handsome one...
"So what about you, Detective (L/N)?" he began. "If I am correct, you and the Lieutenant both like metal."
"Y- yeah, that's right..." You smiled softly. "... I prefer Old school Metal though, and Hank is into more modern Death Metal, and... Wait, how did you know?"
"Your phone." He glanced at it. "And the Lieutenant was blasting death-metal through his car stereo last night."
"Oh, I see... Hey, speak of the devil!" You said and pointed behind Connor; Finally, Hank was arriving. He was smiling at you at first, but that expression quickly turned into one of annoyance as soon as he spotted Connor.
"Well... (Y/N), I see you've finally had the pleasure of meeting this obnoxious tin can over here..." he said to you, and sat down at his desk.
You chuckled in response. "Good to see you too, Hank."
"Hello, Lieutenant." Connor greeted. "If I may ask, do you typically arrive this late?"
Immediately, a sour expression formed on Hank's face. "That's none of your business, pal."
Yikes...
It was well known that Hank wasn't fond of androids... You didn't know exactly what happened the day or night before, but judging by his reaction, it couldn't have been all too great.
"My apologies, Lieutenant. It wasn't my intention to be unpleasant." Connor paused. "You both have dogs, right?" He looked at you and Anderson.
"Uhm, yeah... How do you know that?" you asked him, raising an eyebrow.
"The digital photo on your desk."
Duh... you thought to yourself, mentally facepalming.
"... and the dog hairs on the Lieutenants chair. I like dogs. What are your dog's names?"
Hank was the first to respond "What's it to you?" An uncomfortable pause surrounded the three of you, before Hank eventually continued. "... Sumo, I call him Sumo."
"Mine's called (...)" you chimed in with a happy smile. It looked like Connor was about to say something else, but unexpectedly, Captain Fowler called for you.
"Hank, (Y/N), in my office!"
