As you reached the floor inside the rundown apartment complex, you looked behind yourself while you and Hank stepped out of the elevator. Connor didn't move. In fact, his eyes were shut and his LED was whirling yellow.

"Uh, Connor?" you called out to him, and he opened his eyes. "You okay there?"
"Did you run out of batteries or something?" Hank asked him.
"I'm sorry." The android apologized. "I was making a report to CyberLife."
"Uh... Well, do you plan on staying in the elevator?" Anderson questioned, raising his eyebrows.
"No." Connor told him. "I'm coming."

You looked at your human partner who shook his head, and you started walking down the hallway, with Connor following closely behind.

"Do we know anything about the android?" you asked.
"Not much. Just that a neighbor reported that he heard strange noises coming from this floor. Nobody's supposed to be living here, but the neighbor said he saw a man hiding a LED under his cap."
"Oh Christ, if we have to investigate every time someone hears a strange noise, we're gonna need more cops." Hank said jokingly, bumping your shoulder, earning a light chuckle from you.
"So, Connor... Can you really make reports just like that? Like you did in the elevator?" you asked him curiously, while arriving at the front door of the apartment in question.
"Correct." The android replied, and proceeded to knock on the door. No response...
He knocked again, harder this time. "Anybody home?" Still nothing.
"Detroit Police, open the door!" You yelled out.

A thud could be heard from inside, and Hank and you quickly pulled out your guns. "Stay behind me." Anderson told you, and kicked down the door. You stepped inside hastily. Hank checked the room to his right, kicking down another door. Empty. You took a look inside the one on the left. "No sign of an android here." You said.
Finally, you positioned yourselves in front of the last door, straight ahead. Hank bust it open with his shoulder, and a whole bunch of pigeons came flying towards you. "What the fuck is this?!" he yelled.
They were absolutely everywhere, and the smell of their excrement hit your nose almost instantly. "Oh damn, that stench!" you exclaimed and covered your mouth with your hand, as the three of you entered the filthy room.

Connor looked around and immediately noticed an ID resting in a bookshelf. "The driver's license is faked." He informed you, and continued to scan the area.
"Cool." The Lieutenant metnioned. "At least we didn't come for nothing..."
Meanwhile, you took a look at the kitchen.
"There's bird food on the counter... It must be taking care of these pigeons..."
You moved over to the fridge to open it. Empty. "There's no food in here... We might be onto something, guys..." you explained.
"Interesting... Keep looking." Connor replied.

"I need some fresh air..." Hank muttered in the background.

Connor moved into the bathroom. You were pretty intrigued by the way he analyzes things, so you decided to follow him around.
You observed the sink. There were visible traces of Thirium, and an LED. Just as you were about to say something, Connor dipped two of his fingers in the blue liquid and brought them up to his mouth.
"Connor, what the hell?!" you exclaimed, with a disgusted look on your face.
"My apologies, (Y/N). I should have mentioned that I can analyze samples in real time."
"Didn't I tell you to stop doing that? It's so fuckin' gross!" Hank called out from the other room.
You picked up the LED resting on the sink. "So it really is a deviant, huh."
"Not surprised it was an android. No human could live with all these fuckin' pigeons..." The Lieutenant replied, now entering the bathroom as well. Connor turned around to discover markings on the wall. "rA9? The hell is rA9?" you squinted.
"Written 2471 times... The same sign the Lieutenant and I saw on a shower wall, at the investigation yesterday... Why are deviants obsessed with this sign?" the android wondered and looked at the ground.
There was a knocked over stool, and right next to it laid an opened marker.
Connor observed the area closely and scanned it.
"The stool has been disturbed not long ago, the suspect was here recently. It ran to the living room..." Connor said, and you gave him an impressed look. "Huh, you're good..."
"Thanks." He nodded, and the three of you went back to the living room.
Once there, Connor investigated a bird cage lying on the ground, analyzing once again.
He lowered his voice. "The deviant knocked down this cage. It heard us enter and ran towards that arm chair..." the android whispered. "It's still here..."
"Oh, shit..." you said quietly.
The android carefully made his way over to the chair and looked up through a big hole in the ceiling.

Without a warning, the deviant dropped down from above, knocking Connor to the ground, and running towards the front door. It took Hank and you a second to react, as the birds were flying all around you due to the commotion. "God damn fuckin' pigeons!" Anderson yelled.
"What are you two waiting for?! Chase it!"
