A/N: I'm decided to do a bit of a time jump here so let's say that Amara and T'Challa have been ruling Wakanda successfully for about 6 months or so.
Amara POV
All the anxieties I had about being queen have long since subsided. Everyone was right my heart and mind are in the right place and the people know that. Obviously as Queen I have to work with my husband on ensuring the happiness and prosperity of our nation. Though Challa and I have found that there ar some areas better suited to one of us rather than both. However finally decisions are made together. But over all it's been going incredibly well.
Thankfully Challa and I have survived another day. Lately things have been incredibly calm in the kingdom and for that we are grateful to everyone. Our economy is booming and the country as a whole has been rated the worlds best in almost every category from health care to education. I couldn't be happier right now especially since it was finally safe to tell my king , that I was pregnant 🤰
I had been keeping the secret for a month now- I wanted to get past the miscarriage time limit. But so far it's been amazing and luckily I've had little to no morning sickness. When I went to the doctor earlier today they discovered something incredible- which is why I was so excited for T'Challa to know.
