T'Challa POV Amara has agreed to be my Wife, Queen, and Partner for the rest of our lives. I never thought I would reach this point after ending things with Nakia. That I would find some one to stand beside me, fight with me , and guide me when I feel lost. Meeting Amara rejuvenated those desires and hopefully one day we can move forward in expanding our family.
For tonight however - I look forward to sharing the good news with our family. We have flown in Amara's mother and our entire family will be eating together. I've even made sure that Okoye and Nakia had the night off to join us.
I finished getting ready a while ago and no just sit watching my love finish her hair or as she says 'taming the beast' . I will admit that her hair has become on of my favorite things about her. Walking down to the dining room I could feel Amara's excitement to share the news. To be honest- I wanted the night to pass quickly so Amara and I could celebrate again in our bed.......
Amara POV I am marrying a full blown pervert. This man has had me celebrating our engagement for TWO DAYS and the whole damn time we're getting dressed for dinner he was trying for more celebrations. Now don't get me wrong - it's a damn good time but seriously I'm grateful for the advantages of healing. If not my ass would have been limping down the stairs.
Walking into the dining room I see everyone seated and waiting for us. I kiss my momma and Romanda if their cheeks and hug Shuri, Okoye, and Nakia hello.
As we sat down to eat - I knew T'Challa wanted to be the one to announce our engagement- but I got a big mouth. 🙃
"We're getting married!" I blurted out

Everyone was smiling but of course Shuri had to open her mouth. " It's about damn time - Great Bast brother I thought you'd be stuck in that frozen state of yours!!!"
Challa just decided to ignore her as he got up to hug our mothers. Okoye came up to hug me and whispered , " I am proud that you shall become Wakanda's Queen,"
Very quickly the conversation turned to planning and when the wedding would take place. Suddenly my mother stopped everyone....
" Momma what's the problem?" " No problem baby - just a observation and question"
Everyone stayed quiet :
" Well obviously after this wedding comes grand babies which means I'll be moving here. So my question is how long will Romanda and I have to wait for grandchildren?"
