Amara POV It's rare to have a day off, but Bast are these dash appreciated. To just sit in the garden and enjoy the scenery is a blessing. The nursery is finished and we've picked the babies names, all that's left is for them to be here. I can't wait to hold my babies for the first time- to de their sweet faces. But at the same time I feel like something is missing. I reach down for another snack and find my fruit bowl gone.... but a trail of fruit leading to the lake. I can't help but laugh at whatever little monkey could have taken my fruit while I was lost in thought. Walking over to the lake I see my fruit being devoured not by monkeys, but by baby panthers

Oh if they aren't the cutest creatures I have ever seen. And when I walked up to them they were excited, starting to run around my legs and paw at me to lift them up. I sat down and started to stroke their fur, and somehow they ended up cuddled in my lap. They're what's been missing, how amazing for these to cubs to grow and bond with my little babies.
" How would you like that sweeties, would you like to live with me and my family ?" As if to answer my question these sweet cubs placed their paws on my belly and mewed up at me almost like they were smiling. And purely on impulse I picked them up and strolled into the palace to introduce them to the family.
Shuri, Romanda, and my Momma loves the idea- said it was a sign from Bast. Challa took a little more convincing, more like 2 uninterrupted hours of alone time. 😉😉 But after that and a little time playing with them, he eventually came around. Then he had to stress me out, " What are we going to name them?"
