My Sweet Babies

Amara POV
I never thought I could love someone more than I love T'Challa, but now I know I would use that man as a human shield to protect my babies. Adira and Dakari and so sweet and happy. I know parents talk about the endless crying and staying up all night, but I don't think they ever considered the most natural of techniques to care for a new born.
The twins spend a lot of time with T'Challa and I with skin to skin contact. We've been able to regulate their sleep with ours. Of course not everything is perfect , there's no way to predict a baby's every want/desire. Even so, I don't know if it's because of how calm Challa and I tend to be, but Adira and Dakari are practically still water. When they look at you with their big brown eyes and it's like looking into melted chocolate.

These sweet little people are in a hole filled with love. The people of Wakanda have been so supportive and excited by the birth of the new Prince and Princess.  Though no matter how happy- we still have to remember the lingering threat against the babies lives.
*Later that Night*
Laying the babies down for bed is one of my favorite parts of the day. Watching them fall asleep is peaceful and relaxing, on the plus side Challa isn't here to tug me out of the room. He said I'm obsessed with our children- dumbass! That just means I'm doing my job right.
As it starts to get later, I realize that T'Challa would be back from the elder meeting soon. I walk around the room to make sure all the windows are locked and the baby monitors and cameras are up and streaming straight to my cellphone. Turning towards the door, I see a shadow on the ground right outside the door. It looks like a mans shadow.
The babies are guarded by the Dora every night, and thinking back no Dora have entered the room to alert me that they're here.
Watching the shadow sway back and forth, I step closer to twins cribs, we were never able to fully backtrack the hackers to their source. The door creaks open and in walks a palace aide. His name is Jordan.
He jumps in fright, "My Queen, I am sorry. I noticed there were no Dora outside and I came to check on the twins."
No Dora outside- that should never be!
As I am about to walk past him I notice the weapons concealed in his robe. "Jordan, step out of my children's room, before I burn you alive."
He set his face like stone, " Those beasts are not fit to be named even honorary Wakanda citizens!"
Drawing two daggers he charges for me.
Blocking both arms I head butt and spin kick o put more distance between him and the kids. Before he can stand straight up again I leap into the air to deliver a kick straight to the sternum

Forcing him out of the room I walk out after him sealing the door and activating the alarm system. In the next minute the floor would be flooded with Dora and Guards, not to mention an automatic alarm being sent to T'Challa and the rest of the family.
Sitting up, I could hear him struggling to breath. I hope I broke something, that bastard was gonna hurt my babies. "Do - do you really *cough* think I am the only one- who are interested in getting rid of those monsters! We are every where!"
When he finally raised his head to meet my gaze- I could see the fear in his eyes.

" Do monsters exist in this world- absolutely! They come in the form of closed minded,ignorant , beasts who believe the their issues will be solved be violent and cruel acts. The monsters of this world believe intimidation and murder will win, in fact the monster I am currently faced with believes he would have gotten away with harming my children with no consequences or remorse!!"
Grabbing him by the front of his shirt I hoist him into the air, I could hear the warriors approaching .
The Dora arrived first, " I should burn you alive where you are quivering in fear. Did you think I would crumble and stay silent as my family was threatened. Did you think we would ever leave them unprotected huh? You spineless pig! Be prepared to face the worst punishment for your actions possible, GUARDS! Please be sure that assault and attempted murder are at the top of the charges he is to be tried for."
As they drag him away Okoye walks up to me, " Are you alright, the kids?"
"Yeah we're okay. Help me move them into Challa and I's room please." We strolled into the nursery to hear the twins crying.
"Shh shh shh mommy is here and so is aunty, don't cry."
Picking up the twins we carry them into the bedroom and lay them in the middle of the bed. As soon as they have calmed down on the mattress, T'Challa bursts through the door. No doubt he already received the full report and watched the nursery and surveillance footage. I could see the rage burning in his eyes but as he walked further into the room relief took over. Seeing the children and myself unharmed was more important than anything else.
Okoye excused herself to personally see to the placing of Dora guards throughout the hall.
I walked closer to my husband and wrapped my arms around him. " I am very impressed , with two kicks you cracked his sternum and broke 4 ribs and shattered his nose with that head butt."
" He deserves more,"
"Yes and he shall receive it, I don't know about you but I believe it's time we stop tracking and start hunting."
"Well Black Panther, when do we begin?"
" In the morning, right now I want to lay with my family,"
Laying down I could finally relax and the twins seemed calmer now that we were all here together.
