A/N I have missed writing so much. I'm so sorry I haven't been able to update sooner, unfortunately I was hospitalized again. But I'm back and ready to release like all the drama that's been trapped in my head . So without further ado....

Amara POV
I don't care what kind of life you have with your significant other, you have to appreciate the little moments. Those times where nothing is happening except the chance to be together and enjoy one another's presence. Take right now for example- between planning for the babies, running the country, and trying to hunt down these radicals - T'Challa and I haven't really had the time to enjoy life, especially not together. So here we are watching Netflix in bed , snacking and talking about anything and everything. I couldn't be happier, I got my man and my panther cubs all snuggled up with me, I am blessed.
Challa insists that I don't give him enough choices when it comes to us watching tv, so I let him pick this time. So here we are watching Unsolved Mysteries of the ER. Some of these people concern me, how do you become so ignorant about your own body 😑 But whatever, it's making my man happy to just spend time together. It'd make me happier though if he'd rub my back, it's been killing me for hours today.  We've been sitting here for about 2 hours when I sat up to use the bathroom.
And as soon as I stood up, Niagra Falls came down my legs.
I was both happy and kind of pissed- this episode was getting really good dammit. Looking at Challa's face I could see him beaming with excitement and I know my face had the same expression. Our babies were coming!
T'Challa sprang off the bed and picked me up, practically sprinting to the palace infirmary. As he was running, he nearly collided with our mothers who was walking in from the garden.
"My son what on earth are you doing. Put Amara down before you cause immature labor!" Romanda scolded
It was hard not to giggle at that moment, here is my husband the king being told off by his mother like he's a kid that got caught by a teacher. Even so he's still beaming like the sun, " Nothing premature at all mother, your grandchildren are coming," He responded.
Our mothers started squealing with glee. They rushed to hug us and my mother finally got her senses back, " What are we standing here for, get to the infirmary! We'll go get Shuri, Okoye, and the others!"
By the time we got to the infirmary, they were already prepped and ready for me- which means one of our mothers called ahead. I got changed into a loose gown and hooked up to monitor the babies and my own vitals.
I walked around and stretched for about 4 hours while I dialated. I'm so glad that Wakanda's birthing practices were actually practical and positive for the mother and children.  No laying on your back and risking breaking your coccyx! No when the time came I payed in the birthing pool and pushed my babies out quick and natural. T'Challa was by my side every moment, holding my hands, rubbing my back, and whispering encouraging words into my ear. As soon as the babies were out he began praising me. " My love you are amazing, thank you for this blessing! Thank you for loving me!" Smiling up at him, we shared a sweet kiss. The nurses brought the twins over and my heat melted at the sight of my babies.
