Wakanda is very excited for the arrival of the new additions to the royal family. Since the announcement of my pregnancy, endless letters, gifts, and advice has been bestowed upon me from all over the country. Even so, while many are happy , there will always be the minority who believe Challa shouldn't have married me from the beginning. Yes I'm aware that there is a good portion of the population that feel that T'Challa should've married a Wakandan born woman. Someone who will carry on every single tradition of their people, no matter how archaic. A few days after the announcement, Challa and I were scheduled to attend annual celebration with the Jabari Tribe. It was also a chance for Challa to spend time with one of his best friends M'Baku.

The parade was about to begin andM'Baku and Challa we're laughing like a couple of fools. T'Challa has also begun this silly habit of having me sit in his lap every where we go. He says it's for protection, but I also know he loves having me and the twins in his arms at all times.
Which now makes his protection even more justified - as the music began so did the attack. Gas filled the streets and the market place was being destroyed. Innocent civilians were running for cover. M'Baku leapt up with a fury. Turning to me and T'Challa.
" Amara go with the warriors they'll get you safe inside! And you KING - kiss your wife and prove that you deserve that throne. Or can the Panther not brawl with the Gorilla?"
I kissed Challa quickly , " The two of you better be-careful because there is nothing that will stop me from roasting your asses if you get hurt!"
They both laughed and strode of to battle the last thing I heard was T'Challa telling M'Baku , " that's the fire I fell in love with. It burns no matter what she's doing,"
TIME JUMP
After all the commotion had finally settled down. I was walking around the tribe helping were I could. There are a few medical tents up providing first aid, and after a few hours of patching up superficial wounds and resetting some bones, I could safely say that the medical side of this horror was well taken care of. Even so my nightmare it seems to have just begun. As I walked back to T'Challa , I noticed a few people starring at me - with looks of concern or pity. And it wasn't hard to see why once I reached the center of town. The attackers had left quite the message:
WE WILL NOT BE RULED BY THE FORIEGN WHORE- HER CHILDREN WILL NEVER SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY
I'm not one to be intimidated, but if these bigots wanna threaten my babies - they gonna get a flaming foot up their asses
