Katie sat in the tiny room gazing lovingly at her son, dozing off every so often in the rocker. It wasn't long after Jax had left that she decided to go back to her room for a nap. She pressed her palm to the tiny incubator and smiled at Nathaniel. There was a tiny knock on the door when prompted Katie to glance up, when she did she found Juice and Tig, both wearing matching outfits. Juice flashed her a big grin while Tig simply winked before pulling Juice with him down the hall.

"I'll be back soon," Katie said in a soothing tone. "I promise. Mommy needs to her some real sleep."

Slowly she stood, still weak, and shuffled toward the door. As she reached for the knob Tig rushed back the way he'd came, alone this time, with a darkness changing his expression. He stopped and shook his head.

"Stay," he told her.

"Wha-" before she could get a complete word out he was gone again. "Okay. I'll stay," she mumbled to herself. Seeing his expression harden so quickly sent a pang of nerves through her stomach but she wasn't too concerned. Not until Happy swiftly pushed the door open and spun around to shut and lock it right behind him.

"What are you doing?"

"Quiet," he ordered her as he closed the blinds.

Silently she watched as he pushed a cabinet against the door and flicked off the light. "Is everything okay?" She asked quietly after a few minutes had passed.

"Yeah," he said firmly.

"Okay," she said anxiously, "But you uhh, you just barricaded the door, Hap."

He glanced back at her and shrugged. "Precaution. Can we roll him?" Happy asked, looking at the incubator.

"Yeah," she gently rolled him over toward the corner. "Is this good?"

"Yeah," he nodded.

Katie didn't speak, her stomach churning each time she heard feet scurrying by the room. "Did Stahl finally snap?"

"Not Stahl, I don't think," he said, his eyes locked on the door. "Clay's dead, Jax is...hurt and someone's running around the hospital."

"S...someone?"

"Irish, Russian, we don't know yet," Hap explained. "They came to try to get Clay out, probably the Irish," he mused. "I don't really know shit. I just know shit ain't safe right now."

"Shouldn't you be with them? Helping Jax? Is he okay?"

Happy thought back on the image of Jax bleeding on the floor of Tara's office and decided not to tell her the truth. It's not like his lie would do anything, he was already cut from her life, but he didn't want her to worry.

"He'll be fine," Happy glanced back at her and Nathaniel. "And I'm right where I should be. If they can't handle themselves," he shrugged.

Katie smiled at that although it still hurt her heart. Too little too late to say the least.

Katie gasped loudly as someone pounded on the door. "I know you're in there, Feldstein," Stahl said desperately. "Open this door."

Looking at her Happy just shook his head and pressed his index finger to his lips.

"Please," Stahl stammered. "You want to get out, I can do it, but you need to le-" then there was a single gunshot. Katie screamed, short but loud, and Nathaniel began to cry.

"You're good," Jacob said from the hallway.

Happy pushed the cabinet away and opened the door. "You?" He said as he gestured to Stahl who was crumbled in a heap on the floor.
