Taehyung figured it was necessary to avoid Lisa from running into trouble, specifically his ‘fans’ (the ones who still believed the rumor that was ‘exposed’ at prom) from possibly harasing her.

And to keep creeps who think she’s someone who’s as ‘perverted’ as rhey think Tae is, too.

• TAEHYUNG AND CLARA

Clara figured she could trust the secret with Taehyung. She’s grown fond of him. Taehyung, on the other hand, wanted more than that and is actually attracted to her. The urge to protect her was taking over.

However she had to break his heart in order to get Mingyo to stop from attacking Taehyung. Using herself as a shield in return for everything Taehyung had done.

• LIE AND STIGMA CONNECTION

Jimin is Taehyung's bestfriend, Taehyung saved him as shown here. Lisa is his sister and Jimin's girlfriend.

• MINGYO AND JIMIN

Mingyo saw an opportunity to start his plan, thus catching Taehyung and Lisa’s conversation of being siblings. He knew Jimin was not aware of this and yet he devised a plan that can satisfy his want for revenge.

Using this to drive Jimin into making a deal with him to 'scare Lisa off with fake (but actually are real) gasoline'. Jimin's paranoia was a significant element in the plan, so of course he would do anything to make Lisa stay with him. Plus given his past about anger issues and his mental illness.

• TAEHYUNG AND LISA’S FATHER

He did not pretend to have dementia. He really has developed dementia, but occasionally wears off at times since he’s recovering from the large amount of intake of alcohol, overdosing of drugs and being abandoned by his family.

— — No, he didn’t. He’s just been sentenced to life imprisonment for not being able to afford a lawyer or any witnesses for evidence that his father had been torturing the two of them (him and Lisa) since they were kids.
