''Isabella, you wanna go out for dinner tonight?''

''No, I'm sorry Phineas, how about this Sunday?''

''I thought you have soccer practice, then followed by consultation with Mr Christopher?''

''Oh, thanks for reminding me.''

Isabella picked up her notebook and started scribbling things on her plannet.

I grabbed her hand.

''Isabella! If you are just going to keep entertaining to your outside of curriculum activities, how are you going to spend time with me?''

''Phineas! Can't you see I'm trying to sort out?''

''That's it Isabella! I can't take this anymore!''

''If you have enough of this, then I also have enough of this!'' She screamed ''And I have more work load than you. You don't understand how I feel!''

''You don't understand how I feel then.''

''Then what's the use of this relationship when you can't even be patient and understanding?''

She paused.

She covered her mouth.

''I don't mean to say that...'' she turned very silent.

''Fine then Isabella, if you do not want this type of relationship, and hate this childhood crush that you have been chasing for the past 18 years, it will end here!''

Why was I so foolish?

Why'd I say that?

It's only been 2 weeks since we started school at Tri-State State.

It has barely been 12 days since our relationship started at school.

Now that stupid scene is stuck in my head.

The August wind blew hard.

The college park seemed darker than before, and I could see dark clouds looming ahead.

I rushed back indoors just as the rain started pouring down.

Honestly, I don't feel a pang of regret leaving that dorm.

But hearing Isabella's first sob when I left the room... well, it broke my heart... only now...

I walked to the dorm's cafeteria, attempting to get a drink, or just probably reflect on what I have done, or maybe just forget about her completely.

''Sir, what would you like to have?''

''A latte frappucino, with whipped cream please.''

''Alright, collect your drinks there. Mind if I have your student card?''

I handed him my student pass and collected my drinks. Grabbing a window seat, I looked out at the downpour outside.

Maybe I should have been nicer to her.

She has a lot of stress to take.

She needs someone to turn to when she needs help.

Maybe..

''Hey Phineas, how's your day? Mind if we just seat here, ya know, cause there's like no other spots.'' I looked up to see the fireside girls.

''Sure, help yourselves.''

They settled in and started having their meal.

After some awkward eating,

''So Phineas, how's you and Isabella? And where's Isabella?'' Gretchen looked at me through her specs.
