Isabella got into her her dress she wore during the dance last year.

While for me, I too, decided to play simple and go with the same tux I wore.

''Ready to go, m'lady?'' I kissed the back of her hand.

She giggled and opened the door, joining streams of couples walking to the school gym.

''So, what do you have planned for this homecoming?''

''You see, for the past few years, the school did't really had a homecoming. So, this year, we decided that we might as well initiate it in conjunction with our graduation and a moral boost for the year 1s taking their exams next year.''

''Cool... So which one first? Collection of results or partying first?''

''Collection.'' she pointed at a crossroad, where people start separating.

Signs guided year 2s to the teacher's office to receive their results on whether they may graduate from College or not.

Knocking on the door of Mr Cheong's office, we entered the room.

Surprisingly, his office had a little change.

There was a lady with a child in her arms, while Mr Cheong smiled brightly next to them.

''Wow..'' Isabella breathed and played with the baby, which managed to grab hold of Isabella's finger when she extended it towards her.

''Anyways, here are your results. I must say, I am pretty surprised at your results!'' he said with a smile.

Well, you know me.

I can't wait. Flipping over the paper Mr Cheong passed me, I was greeted with a row of A's, occasionally a A* from certain subjects and not surprisingly, a B from my English.

Isabella was shaking.

Not with fear, but with excitement.

I peeked over to take a look and was astounded.

She managed to ace every single subject and earn herself a A* for every single subject!

Including English!

''Well, congrats on the both of you too.'' Mr Cheong extended his hands towards me and Isabella.

''May the both of you live a happy life together. Take care, buh bye!''

''Bye!''

Strolling out towards the gym, Isabella gave me a bone crushing hug.

''Izzy! Ack*  I can't...''

She finally let go and pulled me along to the gym, where the party had began.

''Well, you sure do look happy.''

''What? I'm over the moon!''

Smiling at Isabella, while she ran off to make sure everything was running smoothly, I walked over to join the Fireside Girls.

''Hey guys, what's up?''

''Nothing much, just chilling. How's your result?''

''Straight As, occasional A*, and a B for English.''

They nodded their head in approval.

''We all had straight As, a C for English though''

''Adyson, only you got a C, the rest of us got a A''

''Yeah..''

They returned to partying, chatting with other people from our level.

Then it was followed by dances and performances.
