''Phineas..''
Ducks.
Interesting creatures.
Isabella...
Probably the most peculiar living thing.
''Phineas!''
''Hu-What?''
''I was asking whether you have revised for your Chemistry Practical test?''
''Oh yeah, that's exactly what I'm doing.''
I gestured to the open book with weird drawings of pipettes and burettes and test tubes, you name it.
Gretchen bit into her cheese burger, the fireside girls reading the morning papers while eating their own breakfast.
''How come you guys don't need to revise?''
''That's because we have already done the revising last night.''
''I mean not even any last minute revision, and you can come out of the lab with full marks?''
''You can say that.'' Katie put down her paper to eat her sandwich.
The cafeteria is already half full of students trying to grab a bite before the day starts.
I continued my half day dream, half eating, half revising method.
I finished my revision, barely managing to grasp the knowledge I need for the practical test in the first period.
''Come on, its 7.15 already, let's go.'' I packed up my stuff and stood up.
The girls followed so, only dropping their papers at a random shelf not so far away.
We headed straight for the lab, where people were already preparing their apparatus.
''Good luck'' Adyson wished everyone before entering that room of weird chemicals.
''Adyson, no talking please.'' Mrs Yeo, the Chemistry teacher turned sharply at the sound of noise.
''Alright, everyone, please check that you have every apparatus listed in the paper. Sound off if there is none of the equipment stated at your bench. I will attend to you.''
After an hour of mixing random chemicals named X and Y,
''All hands off the bench, no more writing.''
With that, the teacher collected the papers and ordered us to reset the apparatus to its original location.
Nothing much really, just that its really hard to not look at Isabella who is sitting next to me, on the same bench.
And really trying hard not to laugh at her during the Practical test.
Her chemicals all reacted violently whenever she added the chemicals into another.
And once, it even exploded.
Hahhahahaha...
The girls and me basically just got through the whole day. Life was definitely a little boring without Isabella, but Gretchen patched up the emptiness.
The last period ended and just as we were walking out of school, to go for some Chinese food, we noticed Isabella lurking at a corner of the almost vacated classroom block.
Johnny was with her.
Naturally, I would leave, serves her right for not appreciating me.
But, heck no.
Johnny had his fist raised infront of her face.
With a blowing shot, the fist landed at her stomach.
