Chapter 22: The fall of The Mudbloods

Marie's POV

Frantically looking around, a door was next to me.

Without thinking, I pulled it open and pushed Isabella's mum through and closed the door behind me.

The both of us crouched behind the door, not making any noises until the set of footsteps grew and died off.

I slowly got up and pulled Isabella's mum away from the door, and running the corridor on the right.

Funny, this corridor doesn't seem to have any lift available.

While running past the emergency stairs door again but in the opposite direction, I heard the door being swept open.

The once quiet corridor had became shouts of curses and stomping feet.

And of course, it had to be a dead end.

The one with... oh.

It's an emergency windows firemen uses to rescue people from outside...

You reckon...

I attached the hook to the end of my rope, gave it a swing, and the window smashed open.

Climbing over the window, I hooked it on the opposite building, while making sure there is still lose rope available.

''Stop right there, or we shoot!''

''NO! Don't fire! The Queen has to be alive!''

''Then what do we do, sir?''

''Now, hand over the Queen to us and we will let you go''

I held on to Isabella's mum.

Making sure that I have secured her, I tipped my hat.

''Adios mates, it was great knowing you''

With that, I jumped off, while releasing the loose rope steadily, until I reached the ground level.

Hopping onto the black motorcycle parked next to our landing spot, the both of us sped away from the scene, with gunshots at the back.

Phineas' POV

I hugged Isabella close to me.

I could hear her soft breathing, and her warmth of her body.

She had insisted that I should at least let her sleep first before I went off to do other stuff.

And so, that is why I am here.

On the bed.

Hugging Isabella.

''Phineas, come in.''

''Hey Marie, what do you need?''

''I'm heading over to the hotel. Help me to alert the WUMAA that the targets are safe, but we require back up. I have a trail of hooligans chasing me on motorbikes and shooting me, but at the moment I am fine. I will try to shake them off before I reach the hotel.''

''Sure thing, good luck.''

''Thanks, over.''

Isabella looked up at me.

''Izzy, get some sleep.''

''I..I can't...''

I patted her back slowly, while cooing at her.

''Izzy, your mum is ok... Just rest ok?''

She nodded her head and snuggled next to my body.

''Phineas Flynn to World Union headquaters.''
