*Bennie's POV*

Before I knew it, the end school bell had rung and it suddenly became a race to exit the school. There were the younger pupils who would practically run out of the school gates. The middle years who would just stand and chat with their friends or just force their way through the crazed crowds. Lastly, the older years or sixth former who would chill back and laugh at the rush. They would often plan through their night, which was most likely to include alcohol and clubbing. Overall, it looked like the hunger games remake.

I stood by the gate waiting for a clear passage way for me to go through so I could easily go home. To do that, I'd have to wait for an popular person to shove through and I'd just jump behind them and let them make the gap for me.

After waiting for a couple minutes, a group of sixth formers turn up. I listen to their conversation about a huge party in a nightclub that one of them has arranged for a birthday bash.

I scan over the girls to see two that I recognise. Emma and Jess.

Jess notices me first and sort of looks down at me. She must really hate me. And I don't know why.

I take my eyes off her and take the path they had cleared for me.

*Luke's POV*

As soon as I get home, I reach for my laptop and go onto the monitor programme and within seconds, I see the room that has become so familiar to me now. I look around for the familiar face but it doesn't appear. And I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't slightly disappointed. In fact, I feel a sudden urge to go see where Bennie is.

I don't think it would be a good idea though. My cover has already almost been blown and I can't be dealing with more explaining. If she finds out, Skip will as well and that cannot happen under any circumstance.

"What's our next move?" Jai says, barging through the door.

I look up at him and he hops onto the bed next to me. He takes the laptop off my lap and stares at it as if he's trying to produce an idea.

"Sorry to break it to you, but all your ideas are shit." I smile.

"Well, you think of a plan then, smartass." He shoves me to the side but I bounce my body back towards him and he flops off the bed making a bang. He lays on the floor for a couple of seconds with his eyes still stuck to the screen.

He sits up and pulls the laptop onto a space for both of us to see it. I stare at him and he gestures to laptop and I watch it as Bennie enters the room.

Jai reaches forward and turns the volume up before shouting for the others to come up stairs.

Moments later, James appears alone and he stands watching the screen without a word.

"Where's Beau?" I ask.

"He's acting weird. I blame Emma, they had this secret sharing thing and now he's being all soppy and he doesn't want to be involved with the plan anymore. He doesn't want to be involved with Bennie." He grunts.

"Wait what?! That bastard, why did he get a fucking girlfriend? I never changed." Jai shouts before storming out the room and down the stairs.

James and I don't bother to follow him, we just watch Bennie, who is lying on her bed with her hands covering her face. I can't tell if she's crying or she's just tired but either way, James laughs at the picture.

"God, she feels sorry for herself to much." He snorts.

She then climbs off her bed and is no longer on the screen, but I know she's still in the room. I hear her huffing and objects moving or things dropping down onto the ground with little thumps. She cusses a couple of times and repeats the word 'c'mon',and I conclude that she's looking for something. She then appears back on the screen and looks under her pillow and under her bed, she pulls out a bear but I don't think its what she is looking for.

"Oh god, no. No please, fuck." She cries and I think it's the first time I've heard her swear and it's kinda good on her. It doesn't suit her but it's good.

"What do you think she's looking for?" James questions and I shake my head.

I don't know.

I hear some drawers slide open and bang shut and her footsteps quicken and before I know it, she's on the floor crying. She's just lying on her floor curled up and crying aloud. I've never seen her cry, just like I'd never seen her cry.

I hear James gulp and the awkward tension gets too horrible to handle. I stand up and give him the laptop.

"Where you going?" He asks, his eyes still glued to the screen.

"I have a plan." I say.

I lie.

I don't have a plan.

I just don't want to watch any longer.

I grab my phone and head down stairs where I see Beau with a big lip and Jai sitting patiently across the room. I exchange glances with Jai before he leaves he room and runs back upstairs to our room. Beau looks at me and raises his eyebrows at me, expecting me to say something. I don't though. I just take the seat next to him.

"She doesn't deserve it, you know." He finally says and I look at him. "Her mums ill, Luke."

"We already know that..."

"So is Emma's mum." He whispers and I can almost hear the emotion on his voice. "She doesn't deserve it."

And in that moment, I agreed with him.
