Today is the day I have forgotten how to human.
Today is the day, the 51% of my introversion became very prominent.
Today is the day I had to speak to people
But my voice kept cracking
Today is the day, I nearly called my mom in the middle of the store,
But I didn't want to be a distraction
Today is the day I had to ask my waitress for my order to be to-go because I wasn't looking at the time
Even though I had to leave in 5 minutes, after 10 I said, "Take your time"
Today is the day I told the deli man I needed 3 items
But I left after 2 because a woman was looking at me funny even though she was talking to her daughter
Today is the day I forgot how to tip.
But I've been tipping since I was 12.
Today. I forgot how to human.
Now I understand the difficulties of being an introvert.
