~Lauren's POV~

As soon as Zach leaves I start having a panic attack!!! Uhhhh...I don't know what to wear.

'You said to dress casual Lauren so dress casual!' I say to myself.

You have until 5 o'clock.

We are going to see IT since I've been dying to see that movie, then we are getting something to eat, and finally we will be having ice cream.

I go sit down—considering it's only about to 12:30—and watch Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire while reciting different lines the whole movie.

I get up after the movie is over and take a shower. When I get out it is around 3:00. I start blow drying my hair wrapped in my robe and straighten it adding a couple waves. I get dressed in ripped jeans and a solid white sweatshirt without a hood (idek anymore lmao). I do light makeup and am ready to go.

It's 4:15 and I decide to leave now since we are meeting each other. Why did I ask him to meet me. I shouldn't have let him drive. Before I left and locked my apartment I said a little prayer for all on the road passing Zach.

It's 4:37 exactly when I arrive and my uber pulls up next to Zach's moms car when I see him on his phone in it.

I then get a text Zach.

Zach ❤️🚗🙏: Are you almost here beautiful? 💞

Lauren 👑💞: No...I'm not coming.

Zach ❤️🚗🙏: What? Why not...
Read 4:40pm

I see him looking upset on his phone. I laugh. I walk around to his side of the car and tap on his window.

He jumps up screaming,"WHAT! THE! FRICK?!?"

I heard it from outside the car. He rolls down his window.

"Told ya I'd get you back Herron," I wink walking to the entrance.

I hear his door shut and his footsteps behind me at a regular pace. They then start speeding up as do I.

It turns into both of us running to the theater and laughing. I start laughing so much I have to slow down.

He wraps his arms around my waist and throws me into the air. I scream loudly and people look at us and he catches me in less than 3 seconds.

I hit him in the chest a she lets out an, "Owww..."! He laughs and we walk in.

I show the woman my tickets on my phone and she gives a sincere smile and then turns to Zach. She winks.

I breathe once and kiss Zach on the cheek stating, "Come on baby!"

Then I take his hand and as soon as the woman who rolled her eyes was out of sight Zach asked, "What was that for?"

I shrug smiling, "She was checking you out a little too...much."

He chuckled while I protested, "Don't laugh because we are on a date not you and her."

"You jealous?" Zach sang in between laughs.

I hit his shoulder, "So what do you want to eat?"

We walk up to the counter. He shrugs, "Doesn't matter to me."

He intertwines our fingers.

"Hi," I say to the man at the counter, "can I have a medium popcorn, some mini hot dogs with extra hot cheese, some hot tamales, sour patch kids, two cherry slushis, and...oh! Definitely a Hershey's bar."

Zach laughs and I blush.

As the man goes to get 'our' order Zach says, "What? I like a girl with an appetite, even if it's just snacks."

"Thanks...that's the sweetest thing anyone's ever said to me!" I pretend to cry.

He wraps his arms around my waist lightly kissing my neck as I say, "You act like we're official!"

I feel Zach shrug as he places his chin on my shoulder. We get out snacks and go into the theater.

We walk into the dimmed room and I instinctively go to the front of the theater but Zach grabs my wrist stopping me.

I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. He pulls me towards the back of the theater. I just giggle. He gives me a smile in return with a short laugh attached.

We sit in the corner in the very back seat of the room.

"So why did we have to sit back her?" I ask easing a brow.

"Uhhhh," Zach says trying to change the subject, "so you picked a scary movie. Reason L?"

"I have been dying to see this movie!!!" I say knowing that wasn't the answer he wanted.

"I thought you picked it to cuddle with me!?" he yells sad.

People shush him harshly.

"OH JESUS CHRIST!!! WILL YOU SHUT THE HELL UP?!? ITS THE PREVIEWS!!" I yell back.

I hear sighs and smile brightly. Zach laughs into my shoulder hard.

"Ok Herron! Got your point now the movie is starting!" I quiet him.

I put my hand on top of his.

"How did you not pee your pants Lauren?!?" Zach asks me in the parking lot.

"I just am not scared of scary movies like I might jump but I end up laughing," I giggle.

"Beautiful," Zach murmurs.

"Thank you," I blush.

"Of course," he replies caressing my cheek.

"Alright," he seems to snap out of thought, "where are we headed?"

"Just a diner and then to another place to get ice cream!" I shout.

He laughs, "Hop in Ms. Uber!"

I roll my eyes and his inside the passenger seat.
