(They have been txting for a while now btw)

~Zach's POV~

I don't have anything to do today so I'm going out to my aunt's local coffee shop to sing.

They have karaoke nights every Friday so I do those. This is what today is.

"Hi, everybody, I'm Zach Herron and I will be singing Man in the Mirror by Michael Jackson!"

People clap. Honestly the shop gets pretty packed for karaoke nights.

I'm gonna make a change for once in my life
It's gonna feel real good
Gonna make a difference
Gonna make it right

As I turn up that collar on my favorite winter coat
This wind is blowing my mind
I see the kids in the street
With not enough to eat
Who am I to be blind pretending not to see their needs

A summer's disregard
A broken bottle top
And a one man soul
They follow each other on the wind ya know
Cause they got no where to go
That's why I want ya to know

I'm starting with the man in the mirror
I'm asking him to change his ways
And no message could've been any clearer

If you want to make the world a better place
Take a look at yourself and then make the change

I finish the song and through the clapping I hear a "Zach?!?"

~Lauren's POV~

Today I have nothing to do so I'm going to my old coffee spot. I haven't been there in years.

I know Friday nights are karaoke nights. I was planning on singing. I knew the owners as well. They are so sweet.

I go in and I hear someone singing already. They have an incredible voice. I've never heard anything like it. I got my coffee and sat down. That's when I saw who was singing.

It looked a lot like ZACH?!?

He finishes sing and then I get a confirmation. It's him, it's really him.

"Zach?!?" I shout.

He looks around trying to see who was trying to get his attention. He looked so cute!

"Lauren?!?" he asked.

I shake my head eagerly. He runs over to me and picks me up spinning me around.

There is another person singing so I nod my head for us to go outside.

He intertwines our fingers as we make our way outside.

"Oh my god, Zach, your voice is amazing!"

"I've said so multiple times," he sasses.

We laugh. I hug him again. We rock back and forth not letting go.

"Well, I kinda gotta sing, so, will you stay and we can hang after?" I ask hopeful.

"Of course, go sing babe!" he says smiling brightly.

That smile, ugh, it was so perfect.

We both walk in and I go up to sing.

"Hi everyone, I'm Lauren James and I'll be singing Nightingale by Demi Lavato!"

People clap. I start my song.

I can't sleep tonight
Wide awake and so confused
Everything's in line
But I am bruised

I need a voice to echo
I need a light to take me home
I kinda need a hero is it you

I never see the forest for the trees
I could really use you're melody
Baby I'm a little blind
I think it's time
For you to find me

Can you be my nightingale
Sing to me I know you're there
Cause baby your my sanity
You bring me peace
Sing me to sleep

Can you be my nightingale

I finish my song and I hear Zach shout, "Hell yeah! That's my girl!"

I laugh really loud. I walk off and he gives me a hug.

"So let me get this straight," he states, "you can sing, you model, your beautiful, and you have an amazing personality....woah."

I giggle. "So let me get this straight, you can sing, your handsome and not to mention the word hot, and you have an unbelievable personality....woah," I mock.

"Is unbelievable a good thing or a bad thing," he asks.

I shrug, "I don't know what do you think?"

He walks super close to me. Our chests are up against each other. That's when....he picks me up and spins me in the air.

"AAAAGGGGHHHH...." he shouts.

He switches me to his back and starts running in a direction to a parking lot.

"Oh....you have a car," I sass.

"Yes, yes I do...her name is Diana," he says.

I double over laughing.

"Hey," he protests.

I calm myself down and then I say suddenly making Zach jump, "CAN WE HAVE A SLEEPOVER AT MY PLACE?!?"

"Parents," Zach questions all smiley.

"I have my own apartment Herron," I say with my hands on my hips.

He stands there in disbelieve, "How old are you?"

"Almost 18...soooo sleepover?" I ask again.

"Hop in," he says
