~Lauren's POV~

"MAMA!" I yell as soon as I see my mother walking from my parents' gate.

"HIJA (daughter)!" she shouts in return and drops her bags with my father following behind her.

"I missed you," I whisper into her ear tearing up and cling to her tightly.

She pulls back and just looks into my eyes before finally letting me go talk to my dad.

"Dad," I wipe my eyes jumping into his arms.

"Hey pal," he chuckles wrapping his arms around me, "how has it been going in the big L.A?"

"Amazing," I smile but then sigh, "except for the specific reason you came here other than to see your princess!"

I dramatically flip my hair trying to lighten the mood. Like Zach had said...even though what happened was unforgettable hopefully we can just forget about it for now.

I go and stand by Zach who has the largest smile on his face as my parents notice him standing there for the first time.

"Mama and dad this is my boyfriend Zachary," I laugh, "but everyone calls his Zach because he can't stand his full name."

I catch Zach rolling his eyes in a playful matter. I nudge him just admiring his bright smile.

"Well," I hear my father state and place a smile on his face, "you seem good for my little Lauren and that's all that matters to me. She won't shut up about how good you treat her and that is a mighty fine thing."

He shakes Zach's hand and I smile.

Zach prepares to shake my mama's hand but, like Myta did to me, she pulled him in for a big embrace.

"Like her father said," she states, "you make my hija happy you make me happy sí?"

"Yes Senora," Zach says and wraps his arm around my waist.

"Oh!" I exclaim. "Mama you can meet all my friends and you and father will be staying at my apartment but I will need some space so I will be staying at Zach's."

"The reason we came though L," my dad starts, "is because of you needing protection. Will you be...well...will you be ok?"

"Yes," I reassure them, "I absolutely promise!"

They both nod and I hug them both once more and we hop into our uber.

I arrive at Zach's house after having shown my parents around my apartment and left ten to get settled.

"That went pretty well baby I'd say after all the whole reason of them being here..." I look up at Zach as I set my duffle bag on his bed.

Zach nods and approaches me and kisses me passionately. I deepen the kiss and this goes on until I am pushed against the wall and I need a breath once I remember all of Zach's family is still in the house.

I laugh and so does he and he kisses my nose only to go back to my lips. I just can't resist this boy. I smile into the kiss as he picks me up and sets me on the bed. He finally pulls away and sits down next to me.

"Now that I think we are in an awesome place and we are both happy I think I should tell you something that went down while you were you know..." Zach sighs.

"Is it something ba-" I question raising my eyebrows feeling my stomach drop.

"No it's absolutely positively amazing!" he says and I smile again. "How about I just show you these texts actually."

Once I read the texts from Atlantic Records about them maybe wanting to sign Zach I scream and he placed a hand over my mouth. I stop and set the phone down again and burst out screaming putting my mouth onto Zach's shoulder to muffle all my excitement.

"ZACH!" I yell.

I wrap my legs around his waist with him still sitting on the edge of his bed.

"You're so cute!" he chuckles wrapping his arms around me as we just hug.

"NO ZACH this is LIFE CHANGING I-I..." I yell and can't even finish the sentence.

"And he said I could bring someone and all this time I've known you have supported me no matter what. So..." he trails as I know what he is leaning towards.

"Zach you have parents you know," I raise my eyebrows.

"But..." he trails again.

I just lean into his shoulder and tear up thinking about how far he has come. And I can say he's mine.
