Today is the day that my other friend that I haven't seen since high school is coming from New York with her boyfriend. Without her I honestly wouldn't have made it through high school. It's been so long. Hopefully we can be best friends again.

I'm picking her up at the airport.

I wait and wait texting her hoping she'll answer. But she doesn't. She doesn't read them either. That's when I hear my name being yelled as loud as possible.

"LAUREN!!!!!!!" she screams.

"CHRISTINA!!!!!!!" I scream I'm return.

I feel heads turn our way but I couldn't care less. Christina was here. Actually here.

We tackle each other in a hug and fall onto the floor. I pull back to learn that both of us had started tearing up.

"I MISSED YOU!!!" I yell.

"YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH I MISSED MY ONLY NON-FAKE FRIEND!!! MY BEST FRIEND!!" she shouts.

"SO WE ARE STILL BEST FRIENDS!!" I yell excited wiping fake swear away from my forehead.

"UH DUHHHH!" she screams.

"Girls calm down," a security guard hushed us.

We just giggle and then I ask suddenly curious, "Where's Bean?" I question.

"Right here," he shouts coming up behind me.

I immediately hug him tightly shouting, "I MISSED YOU BEAN!!"

"I KNOW YOU DID!" he chuckles into the hug.

"HOW WOULD YOU KNOW THAT IN ANY WAY?" I question pulling back glancing at Christina.

"My girlfriend duh," he said wrapping his arm around her waist.

"Aww," I coo, "y'all are couple goals!"

"Good for a second I thought you were trying to steal my man," Christina winks.

"No no no," I assure her laughing, "I have a man now."

"WHAT?!?" Christina comes up shaking me back and forth.

"Y-Y-YE-ES," I say in between her harsh shakes.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?" she screams.

"Well maybe because I only found you on Instagram a little while ago and I wasn't sure if we would be as close," I shrug.

"ANYWAY..." Christina says, "when am I meeting lover boy?"

"Don't call him that or I'll call Corbyn...hmmm," I ponder, "OH...sexy boy!"

"How is that nearly as bad as lover boy," she asks.

I see Corbyn's eyes widen while he tries not to laugh saying, "Don't call him that baby."

We all chuckle.

"Ok I have an uber outside that will take us to my apartment where all of us are staying and I'll text Zach asking when he can meet you," I smile, "also you should meet my other bestie Skye. You'll like her."

We hop into the uber and I text Zach.

Love😍: oooooooo...heyyyy 😏
Wifey💍: I HAVE NEWS!
Love😍: Continue...
Wifey💍: My best friend from high school just got here from New York and she brought her boyfriend so maybe you could meet her...and Skye would come to...
Love😍: Of course! Just txt Skye to meet at my house and head here after they get settled I'm guessing?
Wifey💍: CORRECT!! WE HAVE A WINNER!!! We will be there in a bit baby

I look away from my phone smiling. I see Christina laying on Corbyn's shoulder.

Cute.

"So I told the guy..." I hear Zach Daniel and Corbyn laughing from the living room.

"God their stories are so stupid yet priceless," Skye chuckles.

"Couldn't agree more," Christina laughs.

"To our stupid men!" I say lifting my coffee.

"I don't have a man," Skye pouts.

"You will," I mumble.

"What do you mean?!?" Skye yells.

I shush her asking Christina, "Should I tell her or you?"

"You duh," she states smirking.

I squeal, "Ok you didn't hear it from us at all but Daniel really likes you!"

"What? You're joking...this is the first time I've met him," Skye suspects.

"Love at the first of sights," Christina says in a weird British accent making us all laugh.

"I know you're not used to boyfriends and you like one night stands but come one. You want a permanent relationship," I eye her, "admit it Skye."

She struggles but finally sighs out a yes.

Me and Christina both high five in victory and Skye just swats our hands away playfully.

"I'm so glad we are all getting along," I smiled, "but honestly I'm tired af. And since I haven't seen you [Christina] in such a long time I wanna spend the day with you tomorrow if you can."

"That's what I came here for," she smiles.

"That's cool," Skye smirks, "I need to work on Daniel anyway."

"Where'd all that confidence come from," I laugh.

She gives me an ugly wink and walks away 'strutting' her stuff.

But dang was this evening perfect!
