When my father said I had a morning flight, he didn't tell me it was at four in the morning! Which means I have to be there an hour early.

Brian is kind enough to drive me, so I won't have to leave a car there. Grabbing my bag from the back; trying to run the sleep from my eyes. "Have a good flight man!" "Thanks Brian. Tell father I'll call when I land." "Sure that will go well." I laughed, if my father doesn't get his sleep, he's hell on wheels. "Good luck with that. See you later." He sped off, as soon as stepped through the door.

There aren't many people around which isn't all that surprising, given the hour. I checked in, showed my gun, permit and badge, and got the all clear. Lucky for us we have people on the inside. I was shown to my seat and we were off twenty minutes after that. Since I won't be able to sleep during the flight, I grabbed the file, to see what I'm getting into once I land.

I'm 320 years old, and doing this is starting to get to me, don't get me wrong I love it, I'm making it safe for our kind to exist with humans, but when one of us steps out of line, I won't hesitate to bring the wrath of my father down on them.

The local blood banks, human and vampire, had been robbed half a dozen times, but no surveillance has ever captured the suspects.

Flipping through more pages father provided a list of vampires in the area right now, once I land I am to report to the office in town where they are supposed to get there blood from.

These vampires are putting us all at risk, if they aren't caught and soon, then we will have a huge problem on our hands, humans could find out about us, and that is not good, not for any of us.

With each name there is a photo to go along with it.

Each time this happens, the police are trying to help keep it under wraps but now, but it's getting harder to keep all this quiet. Sooner or later word is going to get out and things are going to get real ugly real fast.

Reading over each profile I have narrowed it down to half, to a few names, I'll tell the others to take care of the rest, and I will deal with these ones.

Soon enough we have landed and out of the place. I put the hotel into the G.P.S and made my way there, hoping to get some sleep, before I head to the station. Driving through town it's been a long time since I was here last, and so much has changed. Especially after Katrina hit the place. Stopping in front of a house it's beautiful, the vines and trees all over the place; smiling I continued on to my hotel. My father said he made all the arrangements, he wasn't kidding, stepping into my room tossing my stuff on the table, I stripped and feel into bed, asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

An incessant ringing brought me to the surface. I don't know how long I've been out, but I do know it hasn't been for very long.

Stumbling around; I found my phone. "Hello?" "Son? Are you alright?" Rubbing my face. "I'm good, I was asleep is all. Everything alright?" "I'm sorry, I figured you would be too wired from the flight to sleep." "Nope not at all. What is it?" there was silence. "What is it?" "Nothing. Never mind, I'll call later."

Before I can say anything he hung up. Dam him, he always does this to me.

Groaning I got back into bed, sleep overtaking once again.
