Holding Elizabeth close, I can feel her cringe as Brian reads her story out loud, but she doesn't have to worry. I can see it on their faces, they love it just like I do. She's an amazing righter.

Brian's really getting into it, he's even doing the voices; it's odd seeing him like this.

As he did her father dying, he went a little overboard. He finished and we all clapped.

"Elizabeth that was beautiful; you are very talented." Mom said, a huge smile on her face. "Thank you. I was worried you would be upset about it." She said playing with the blanket I put over her.

"Not at all. You are a wonderful writer. Don't give it up." She smiled. "That's what my mom always said to me." Holding her close, she's about to break down; and I know she doesn't want to in front of who are basically strangers to her.

"Mom talk about something else. We have to get her mind off this; at least until we land." "Of course dear."

We severed our mental link.

"So Brian how have things been going with our youngsters?" Sighing, I felt her straighten a little. "Who are the youngsters?" Beth asked wiping her eyes. "There our young vampires that don't have anywhere else to go. We take them in, train them, and educate them." "You educate them?" Mom nodded. "Yes dear. But more about that later. Brain." He nodded. "There doing well. Most don't remember what happened to them. But some are starting to ask questions about their parents. I don't know what to tell them. I was hoping that someone else could come and help me talk to them."

She nodded. "We'll deal with it." They kept talking, I can tell that Elizabeth has fallen asleep. Lifting her up, I laid her down covering her up, making her she's comfortable.

Sitting in a seat at the back, I can't help but think about everything that has happened to her and those kids. Their lives have been changed forever, especially for Elizabeth. I have to find who did this to her. I will make them pay.

Sitting back, closing my eyes I tapped into her mind, seeing her memories.

Most vampires have this ability, but most don't learn to hone in on it. In a few seconds her whole life starts to flash before my eyes. Birthdays, Christmases, concerts at school. A very interesting one started, holding it there.

At a field hockey game, she hit some bitch with her stick, smiling she's a tough little one. The night of the attack; I can feel her fear, watching the only family she has being ripped away from her for forever. Seeing all I need to, drifting out of her mind, looking over at her, if my parents are correct, and she is my mate, then I will do whatever it takes to keep her safe!

"Alright everyone we are about to make our final decent. Please buckle up and you will be on the ground shortly."

Moving back over to the couch, I held onto her, the whole time through the landing she didn't wake up.

We quickly landed and started to exit the plane. "Beth baby, it's time to wake." She opened her eyes, looking at me. Helping her sit up, we got her coat on her. "Everything is so big on me now." Sighing. "Don't worry. It won't last long. Come on."

We got her off the plane and into the waiting car. "By the way if anyone asks, say you got the flue, and couldn't keep anything down, for a while." She nodded. "Okay. That makes sense." That was easy, no one can know what really happened to her.

Driving through town, she didn't look anywhere, just leaned her head against my shoulder.

Feeling something I looked down as she took my hand, grasping it tight. Smiling I let her hold on as tight as she needs.

We turned a corner, she looked up.

"Where are we going?" "To the hotel. We'll rest, and talk then go to the police." My father said from the driver's seat.

"We're not going to my home?" "No honey. We have to talk to talk to the police before we can go back there." She sighed, looking out the window. "Okay. I guess I have to do a service or something. Wait stop here!" She said jumping out of her seat. "What is it?" "What time is it?" Gabriel looked at his watch."It's just after three; why, what's going on?" Smiling. "School is out. There's someone I have to see. Pull over here. Right here."

We pulled the car over, and she jumped out, with Brian and I right on her heels. What is going on with her? She shouldn't be moving like this, not right now at least.
