Bursting through the door of the shop, my exhaustion forgotten with the thought of seeing Lucy and Mat again. Her mom is at the front desk, as I burst in, scaring her half to death. "Elizabeth? Oh my god! You're okay!" She ran up to me, hugging me tight. "Honey what happened to you?" She said looking me up and down. "It's a long story. Are Lucy and Mat back yet?" She nodded. "Yes. Let's go upstairs and talk."

Lucy and Mat walked out; as soon as they saw me, they pulled me into a group hug.

"Where the hell have you been? What happened to you?" She let go of me, and looked at the two good looking guys behind me. "Who are they?" "We need to talk." Sitting in one of the chairs, Gabriel and Brian are standing behind me. "I know about what happened to my parents. That's why I came back." "Where were you?" "I was with Gabriel and his family." "And Gabriel who are you?"

"I'm a friend of hers. We became pen pals, we've been talking for about a year now. She told me she needed a break and I invited her to stay with us. For a few days." "I told my parent's where I was going, packed a few things and left. Where we went, there wasn't good cell reception; I was told the attack happened the day I left." I'm quite impressed with how quickly I came up with the lie.

"Why are you so thin?" Sighing. "Well. I got the flue, actually Gabriel over here gave it to me, which was very kind of him. I couldn't keep anything down, I got so dehydrated I had to get an I.V put in to get liquids into me. I almost passed out on them. Almost gave them a heart attack." "I'm so sorry. About everything." "Thank you." "What are you going to do?"

I couldn't answer that.

"She told us that she doesn't really have any family, my parents have agreed to take her in. If she wants, of course." "You could stay with us, we don't mind. You're always welcome here, you know that, don't you?"

"Thank you. But I'm going with Gabriel. I just need some time away. But thank you." "Beth we should really be going." I nodded. "I'm sorry for scaring everyone. I never meant to do that to you." We walked downstairs, I hugged everyone told them I would let them know when the service will be, and followed the guys out to the car. Waving to them I climbed into the car.

"Is everything alright dear?" I nodded. "Yeah. I just had to see my friends." We continued on to the hotel in silence.

The look on Lucy's and Mats face when I walked in, it was like they were looking at a ghost. Perhaps in a way there were seeing a ghost.

Walking into the hotel, most people that work there I know, and as soon as I walked in, everyone was one me, hugging me and saying how sorry they are, and how happy they are that I'm okay.

Gabriel and Brian got me out of there, and up to our rooms. They got two rooms, one for the three of us to share, and one for Uther and Pandora.

"Get cleaned up and we'll talk about the game plan." Uther said, we opened our door. We nodded and went into our room. "Elizabeth go have a shower." Brian said shrugging off his jacket. "Alright." I said setting my bag down.

Closing the door, leaning against it. What am I doing here? I shouldn't be here. I should leave, but I know they won't let me leave; so there's no point in even trying.

Sighing I turned on the water, stripped not looking at myself in the mirror; stepping in, feeling the hot water.
