"She's been in there a while. Should one of us go and check on her?" Brian asked setting his book down. "She just needs some time. But I will give her some fresh clothing." I said unzipping her bag. I pulled out a nice red shirt and jeans. Knocking on the door, I can hear the water running still.

"Beth I have some fresh clothes for you." When she didn't answer, I opened the door, stepping inside. The shower is still running, that's when I smelt it, the blood! Stepping up to the shower, blood running down the drain; dropping her clothes, turning the water off. "Elizabeth? What happened?" In a small voice. "I fell." Quickly I covered her, carrying her out to the main room. "Brian call my parents now!" "What happened to her?" going into the separate bedroom, setting her on the bed, looking her over. "She has re-opened her stiches. Get them now!" He made the call and within seconds there standing next to the bed. "Oh my dear! What happened here?" Not looking at either one of them. "I found her on the floor of the shower bleeding. Both of her wounds have re-opened."

Mother put her hands on my shoulders. "We'll take care of her. Uther grab my kit from my bag, we have to stich her back up. It's going to be all right son. Just stay calm."

Lifting her up, I made her more comfortable; covering her up with a blanket. She's still unconscious, and hopefully she won't feel a thing. Dad came in handed mom her kit. "Honey I need you to hold her down. She's out of it, but she might still feel something." She said pulling a needle and thread from her kit. "I need this sterilized."

Pulling a syringe out and she filled it. "You need to inject this into the cuts to freeze the area." She flinched as it pierced her skin. "I'm sorry." Holding her tight, mom started to for the third time stitching up her face. I tried not to watch, but I felt her flinch with every pull of the thread. "Alright I am done. Let's just hope she won't re-open them, again."

Covering them we moved off the bed. "What happened to her?" "She was in the shower, I got her some clothes, and when she didn't respond when I knocked I got worried and went in. I found her of the floor of the shower, it was still running. And the water ran red with her blood." Sighing I sat down on the bed next to her. Slowly she opened her eyes; looking confused. Smiling down at her. "You're okay. You fell in the shower, and re-opened your stiches. Can you sit up?" She nodded, helping her sit up.

"Let's get you dressed."

Mom said helping her off the bed.

"Honey I have some bad news." Dad said shutting his phone. Funny, I hadn't even noticed he left the room. "What is it Uther?" Sighing, he ran his fingers through his hair, what's going on with him?

"That was the cops, Elizabeth my dear, we have friends in the department here; and they said we have no choice; you have to go. I tried to get it pushed, but it has to be now."

She nodded holding onto my mom tight. "It's okay. The sooner we get this over with the better. Thank you." I can't believe this girl in front of me; she is one of the strongest people I know.

I watched her walk into the bathroom with my mom, closing the door.

"Alright get ready. We leave in ten."

I said pulling my gun from my bag; making sure it's loaded.

Just in case something might happen out there, so I can keep her and my family safe; no matter what.
