This felt nice. In some very odd, unfamiliar way this felt nice. What would this be called? Friendliness? Bonding? Whatever it was it was weird but that's fine she guessed. Asmodi had stopped giving her that odd look and had finally allowed his neck to relax. He rested his head on the floor and stared up at her, his mind must be racing because he looked very much conflicted. 'When should I stop? I've never done this with a human being before. Then again I'm not fully me right now am I? What does the other me think? What is she telling me to do-'

His head instantly shot up, looking towards the door he was blocking with his body. She was going to ask him what was wrong when she suddenly sensed it... 'Mom.' she looked up at him, his eyes were filled with rage. "Asmodi, stop!" Elizabeth yelled but her voice would not reach his ears. She watched as he charged down the pathway. He had never seemed more snake like. The smoke that emitted from his nose created a wall his body would bullet through. She couldn't see his eyes but was sure they screamed bloody murder. The sound he emitted was the worst; a low growl that sound like it could summon the gates of Gahanna. She had to shift her body to balance herself as the walls and floor trembled. What she was witnessing was a wyvern through and through. An animal that had shed the thin sheet of humanity it wore in her family's presence. 'No, no, no, no. This couldn't be happening.' She thought to herself before breaking from the fear and running behind him.

"Asmodi, please." She pleaded but he showed no sign that he even heard her. She was sure her voice was being blocked out by the feeling of malice so strong it was tangible.

'Erase it.' It was an animalistic urge that came to him as easily as the need to feed, fuck and survive. He felt like he was losing his mind. No longer Asmodi but instead a animal doing as nature intended. 'Madness.' This creature was in his territory. This abomination had insulted him with its existence. He needed to erase it. He could hardly see anymore, everything had gone red but it didn't matter, he could smell it. 'It was close' He hissed upon entering the large room. He could identify four other scents present. What were those? Didn't matter. It was the fifth scent in the room that called for him. He opened his mouth and let out an earsplitting roar. 'Anger.' The other four scents in the room backed away but the fifth one faced him, while the other colors were purple and grey mists the fifth was black and more solid. The thing smelled of death and decay, he wouldn't make this quick. It circled him before pouncing, a futile act as he twisted out of its way and slammed it into the wall with its tail, effectively pinning it down. It clawed and scratched at his tail but its claws could barely mark his scales. He knew this creature ... It shouldn't be so easy to subdue. It had been a long time since he'd last battled a Wendigo but he was sure they were harder to handle than this. They were usually stronger, driven by a feral need to destroy anything that moved. That didn't matter now, he would slowly peel away at it with his teeth.

"Asmodi. Don't!" He heard a voice come up behind him. What was trying to command him? He turned to face the figure. It was the only thing that wasn't red, that wasn't a scent. It was the familiar form of a human. Though he couldn't recognize her he could sense a small bit of his magic on her. A female with his magic? He had a mate? When had he allowed that to happen? 'Confusion.' He allowed himself to fully face her but kept his prey pinned. What was it she had called him. 'name.' He lowered himself to inhale her scent 'familiar.' Why was his mate trying to stop him?

"Please." She spoke again, she smelt of sadness. His mate was sad, that was simply something he could not allow. She was his and what was his needed to be protected. To be locked up within his hoard. Another item in his collection. Was he allowed to do that to a living being? If he had found someone to call his mate then she shouldn't be around something as awful as the creature he had pinned. "Don't kill her." She begged with glossy eyes. Why would she cry for this thing? "Asmodi." She called to him. Yes, that was it. That was his name and she was Elizabeth.
