Chapter 4

Flashback to Jake proposing to Erika  (* Contains sexual descriptions) 

"babe you ready" Jake calls out from downstairs. Today they had a military ball to attend because Jake was getting certified as a MWD handler as well as he was being ranked up to a Lieutenant.

"almost" Erika yelled down from her bedroom. Jake and Erika hadn't moved in together yet as they were going to wait until they got married to move in. Neither of them were virgins but they didn't sleep in the same house.

" why is your mom so slow at getting ready Viah" Jake ask the dog as he pets her. A few minutes later Jake hears the clinking of her heels on the stairs and sees her coming down.

" Damn baby you look like a whole damn meal. We might not even make it to this ball at this rate." Jake said as he stood up and she walked over to him and he wrapped his arms around her waist as he ran his hands up and down her back and butt while she rested her free hand on his chest.

"no this is big for you we need to go. You can take this dress off tonight I promise." Erika said as she backed out of his arms and Jake patted her butt.  Jake grabbed Apollo's leash and hoooked it on his collar and then he grabbed his phone and Erikas hand . They then walked out of the house after Erika locked up. Jake put Apollo in the backseat and helped Erika into the passenger seat. He then got in the front seat and began his drive to the ball.

" are you nervous" Erika ask as Jake gets on the highway

" no or at least not right now I'm not." Jake laughs as he rest his hand on Erika's thigh.

" I think that your going to do amazing tonight. As of tomorrow you are going to be my Lieutenant boyfriend and we're gonna be naked in bed all day because we are both off of work and I miss you like crazy" Erika lays as she fixes a button on his uniform.

" I'm not the now who was in L.A. for a photoshoot, but that sound amazing to me,  as long as I'm with you I am perfectly fine." Jake says as he gets off of the exit and stops at a stoplight. He leans over and kisses Erika before the light turn green. They drive silently for the rest of the way until they pull up. Jake pulls up to the hotel and then the valet and opens his door and then goes around to Erika's side and opens her door helping her out. He then gets Apollo out and they walk in.

" Who pulls up to a military ball in a Jaguar" Erika laughs as Jake hands his key over and takes his ticket.

" when your rich and so are your parents you pull up in any car you want" He says as He gives the ticket to Erika and she puts it in her clutch. They walk in and everyone immediately rushes over to greet them. With Erika being a supermodel and Jake being ranked up tonight they were getting a lot of attention. Jake's Captain walked up to him as he was walking to his seat. He had given Apollo to Kade to watch so he and Erika could go take a picture but he was stopped before then.

" Paul how are you doing tonight" his captain asked him as Jake kept a arm around Erika's waist.

" great sir how about you." Jake asked as he shook his hand

" ready to promote all of you and get my new dog." he laughs as he and Jake laugh

" you haven't introduced me to this pretty lady... what is up with you" his Captain says as he shakes Erika's hand.

" I'm sorry sir this is my girlfriend Erika Costell" Jake says as Erika smiles

" it's nice to meet you I hope your keeping this young man in check" his Captain says as they carry on a causal conversation

" oh I am it's hard but I am." Erika says as she smiles up at Jake

" keep doing what your doing then" His captain says as he excuses himself and goes to chat some more. Jake and Erika walk over and get a few pictures taken. A few of Jake and Erika them some of them by themselves.  Jake post one to his instagram while they take their seats and Kade and Mackenzie come over to the table they are sitting at which is also the one that Jake and Erika are sitting at. Kade gives Apollo to Jake and Jake finished posting the picture of Erika
