Chapter 8

Dan came running into the kitchen along with Justus as Angel just called them

" what happened" Dan said as he saw Angel crying

" I...I... I don't know. We were just talking then she screamed and I heard a crash" Angel said as Morgan came into the kitchen and her hand flew to her mouth.

"ok lets go I know the way they go home." Justus said as he kissed Morgan

" please be safe baby" Morgans said as he nodded. Angel, Dan, and Justus ran to the car and climbed in as Justus drove the route that Erika and Jake take to get home. They drove for about 15 minutes until they saw a crash at a 4-way stop.

" oh god is it them" Dan said as Justus stopped the car on the sidewalk and jumped out in no Jacket. He ran to the car and saw Jake laid across Erika's belly. He turned his head back at the car and nodded.

" oh my god... call 911 and stay here" Dan said as Angel nodded she picked up her phone and dialed 911 while the boys went and ran to the car. Once Angel had called them she called the other men that were at the house since she knew that they could get there quicker than the ambulance could. Dan's brother, Jack, and Angels brother ,Mike, soon arrived at the scene and they jumped out and immediately went to help. Justus, Dan, and Mike stayed by Erika and Jake car while Jack went to the other driver to see that he had no pulse. He pulled his lifeless body out of his car and began preforming CPR on him. Five minutes later and 2 ambulance and a firetruck showed up and the firefighters jumped out and ran to the cars. The paramedics went to Jack and took over CPR and finally revived him, They loaded him up once they stabled him and took him off to the hospital. Another one went to Angel door and opened it up and helped er out. The firefighters were helping get Jake's door open as they had gotten Erika's open since it wasn't impacted as much.

" get my a collar" One of the paramedics yelled as ht straightened out Erika's neck.

" fuck" He said quietly as he noticed that she was pregnant

" how far along is she" one of the paramedics yelled and Justus responded

" she's 36 weeks today. Thats her husband I'm her brother-in-law." he said as he made sure not to get his bloody hand anywhere as he was holding Erika's head while it was bleeding. Once they managed to gt the collar on her she woke up and freaked out.

" what's happening to me somebody help me." she yelled as Justus stepped to her side

" Erika its me Justus...you and Jake were in a car accident. I need you to calm down ok The paramedics are helping yo but I need you to calm down. For you and the Baby.

" oh god no please not my son" Erika cried as the paramedics transferred her to a board to get her on the stretcher.

" ok Erika I am gonna help you to the hospital and we're gonna check on you and your baby. Is that ok with you." The paramedic who's name was Adam said as Erika nodded

" wheres my husband." Erika asked as they looked her over.

" he's still in the car was their anyone else in the car."

" our three dogs" she said as he nodded.

" ok that good you just stay calm and we're gonna get you to the hospital." They said as they loaded her into the ambulance after putting a blanket over her stomach.

" Can I ride with her" Angel asked the paramedic

" who are you to her" He asked as Angel stood outside the ambulance

" her mother" She said as he nodded and Angel limbed beside Erika and grabbed her hand that wasn't strapped down.

" I'm scared mama" Erika cried and Angel nodded
